  1. This is Thrasios, a triton ranger and one of the players in my D&D 5e Theros campaign. I built this mini in Hero Forge according to the player's description and added my own touches to it. For example, I was inspired by the neon tetra fish in painting the skin and I used Greek hoplite reference pictures to paint the armor.
  2. Here is my rendition of Pegasus, figure #516 in the Greek Odyssey expansion for the Bones V Kickstarter. I love the sense of motion, grace, and power in Julie Guthrie's sculpt. This is a resin master figure, not a production piece in Bones plastic. It took me waaaaay too long to paint this. I got the figure more than a year ago but I couldn't decide on a color. I ruled out the traditional "white horse with white wings" but that still left ... well, infinity-minus-one options. I imagine this Pegasus flying along a su
  3. Hi all, just finished this one last night, hope you enjoy! Another really nice figure from Chris Fitzpatrick and his company Crocodile Games. This was from their most recent Kickstarter if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for looking!
  4. Medusa is easily among the most beautiful sculpts I've ever painted. My hat is off to Sebastian Archer, he really outdid himself with this one. After I posted the first one, another client asked me to paint her up for him. I mostly followed my original color scheme, except this time I used true metallics in place of the non-metallic metals I used the first time around. I'll need to paint one up for myself sometime. She really just screams to be in a competition. I've posted her to coolmini for anyone who cares to vote. The translucent fabrics make me think I ought to go
  5. Hi all, so want to work on bronze, and doing it as NMM . Any suggestions for base, shade and highlight colors?
  6. I painted up Aquarius and Virgo as statues for my Dragons Don't Share Ruins. My WIP is here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/71651-dragons-dont-share-2/ I am still working on the overall but I was happy with how my "statues" turned out so wanted to share them in a Show Off! I can't get over how cute these two little minis are. I had no idea they were so cute. I will be buying more to paint as "normal" but I think they make excellent statues as well! Pictures of Virgo in first reply.
