  1. Not much progress so far. Washed, and hot glued to cork. I didn't check for mold lines before I started slopping brown liner on him, so I finished, then removed mold lines, then touched up the paint. His shield wasn't well attached, so I just pulled it off. That'll make him easier to paint anyway.
  2. June’s Reaper Forum Hangout Figure of the Month was the Orc Sharpshooter. In continuing the theme of filling the more common slots of a Frostgrave Warband with various humanoid monsters, this guy can serve as either an archer or ranger. I got this mini originally with my Bones I kickstarter, and painted him up years ago. This version I ordered and painted at the same time as Blacktongue, so there’s a lot of overlap. Also, because I was trying to keep my orcs all themed, color-wise, he looks a lot like the Orc Shaman and the black orcs I painted before. After washing, scraping mold lines, and at
  3. My February Hangout Figure of the Month ended up taking a little longer than I had expected... Fiddly mini... He still needs a blast of clear coat, but otherwise? I'm calling him done! Except for that spot of touch up on the skull.. and maybe that ring finger... WiP here Lots more pics below the cut.
  4. Following up on last month's Shaman figure, this month we're moving onto the Commander figure! Tonight was simply glueing him to the cork and then giving him a basecoat of brown liner. I expect to paint him basically the same way as the shaman, so this should go pretty smoothly... *insert universe laughing at me here*
  5. In spite of the fact that I haven't finished my Orc Druid, I decided tonight to get March's goblin shaman started. A couple of goblin troops snuck in as bodyguards... Nothing much but some brown liner and corks from the drow.
  6. I picked up my Orc Druid from e-bay, and he arrived already sort of painted. So into the paint stripper he went, and on the other side came out looking much better! And then tonight he got painted with brush on primer. For the most part he's a well sculpted mini, though there is a mold line running across the skull on the staff, and then down the staff and across his right hand. The other big on is on the underside of his left arm. The worst bit to get is between the straps on the back of the staff Talking tonight with the Knarthex, Dilvish, and CW about skin tones,
