  1. Hello again, everyone! Well, I still can hardly believe that I can say this now, but... I won the Gold Sophie for the ReaperCon 2016 Painters Category!!! There were so many awesome entries, and I am super honored and humbled that everyone liked this piece so much! You all just make painting so much fun (as I've said many times before), and I simply loved talking with you about all of our minis and every facet of our shared hobby! The mini itself was the ReaperCon 2015 Hall of Fame Dinner exclusive mini, and so I did not think that he would ever officially be released, but then I saw him in the coming releases display at ReaperCon! Who knows? Maybe that means he'll be a part of Bones IV!!! I added the tentacles by starting with an old leaded-pewter TSR space worm of some kind that I got from Jasper after a forum painting contest a few years ago, and then I sculpted the scales and suckers with green stuff. If you're curious, you can see the whole WIP starting here. Thanks so much for looking, and I can't wait to see everyone again next ReaperCon!!!
