Slumbering Oblivion III - H.A.D.E.S. Rising Kickstarter

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/reclusivephoenix/slumbering-oblivion-iii-hades-rising Coming off the heels of two successful Kickstarters, Reclusive Phoenix is happy to announce our third project. This is the second project in our Slumbering Oblivion 32mm scale game line and the aim is to produce the human armies to face off against the forces of Cthulhu. The human army is known as H.A.D.E.S. (Human Alliance in Defense of Earth and Sea) and is under the command of the new human alliance called the Aligned Nations of Earth. TL:DR / The Short Story We are trying to fund the human army miniatures for our upcoming Slumbering Oblivion 32mm scale tabletop war-game. The initial goal is to fund the creation of a 5 model unit manufactured out of resin. The more funds we raise, the more units and models we will produce and the quicker the game will come to fruition. This is also an EU friendly campaign in the sense that shipping will be fulfilled from US and UK locations which should help cut down on additional taxes and fees for international backers. Four of the First Five Miniatures H.A.T.E. Trooper - Gustav I backed their first KS for cthuloid monsters and it was excellent and delivered without issue, the second for the Giant Cthulhu also appeared to go well so if you like the look of these they're probably a safe bet
  2. Some pretty good deals in the early bird specials: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/399883540/orc-warband-collectors-by-yedharo-and-gt-studio-cr Offering 30mm, 70mm, Busts and 1/10 () Scale figures. Something for everyone! I got the early bird 4 bust deal. FWIW I have some of their earlier figures and they've been very good quality.
  3. We just launched our campaign for awesome gargantuan dragons, they are 20 cm high, they will look huge compared to 32mm miniatures, the design of every dragon is also unique and different. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dracostudios/dragons-of-the-red-moon We hope you can join us on this draconic adventure!
  4. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/831472366/corvus-corax-miniatures-clansmen-of-caer-loch?ref=hero_thanks Corvus Corax Miniatures is a small hobby project created in 2013. Since then, three projects have successfully funded on Kickstarter and all have been fully delivered on time without any delays. The feedback from the backers have only been positive. Thanks to the support through Kickstarter, 17 miniatures have been made available. The goal of this project is to raise funds for the production a total of four (4) miniatures for the Clansmen of Caer Loch. The miniatures will be cast in high quality, non-toxic resin. The scale of the miniatures is 35mm (measuring to the eyes in a standing, straight pose, although some characters may be slightly larger because they are supposed to be large characters). You can also pick up the other Corvus Corax minis from previous projects as add ons I've backed the previous projects and been very happy with the results

The 'Mere is a Cruel Mistress

Y'all. It's done. I've probably sunk about 40 hours into this, and it's been so much fun to learn some new skills. But I am so, SO glad it's done. ;) Enjoy! And let me know what you think! I'm seriously open to C&C. Thanks so much for looking!
  7. Not much info out there yet, but Bob has started to put up concept work for upcoming mins.

    Areas Operator 03 Soldier

This is Scale 75's Ares Operator 03. It's a 40mm resin future soldier and apparently part of a gaming system. The package had some cards in it, but since I don't play the game, they're a bit lost on me... Anyhoo... The figure is four parts - head, upper torso/arms, lower torso/legs, and the rifle with molded on hands. Cleanup was taking care of the usual casting seams and the removal of bits and pieces of mold trash. I used the gray Stynelrez primer (brushed on out of the bottle) and Reaper MSP paints. I used a Dremel tool and ball/dovetail cutters to mark up/damage the armor and went with a splotchy green camo. While they have their place, I tend not to use bright colors on military figures because all they say to me is 'Here I am! Shoot me!'. The figure is mounted on a sanded/stained wood craft block with Aves Apoxie Sculpt groundwork, kitty litter rocks and somebody's weeds. I added a dripping rusty pipe coming out of the ground and a large putty teddy bear. Qs and Cs welcomed. Glen
  9. Now that I have your attention... This is Percival, a one inch(ish) tall resin penguin from Scale 75. The piece is part a larger model in S75's SmogRiders line. It's not normally available separately, but I was able to score one when it fell off a truck. The piece originally had a WW I style Prussian spiked helmet. I removed the helmet and added a WW II British helmet from my spares box. The groundwork is Aves putty stippled with a stiff oil painting brush to give it a sandy texture. The sandbags are also putty formed with my fingers. I left my fingerprints on them to give the impression of coarsely woven canvas. The sign is sheet plastic and strip. Reaper MSP paints. Eventually, it'll have a name plate 'Why Am I Here?' Qs and Cs welcomed. Glen

    The Caravan by JoeK Minis

This looks like a fun quirky boutique piece. Pigs and Dwarves! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1113411001/the-caravan?ref=project_build
  11. Got this out of Impact Miniatures last Kickstarter. The master was 3D printed, and then it was produced via spincast resin. Pretty much zero clean-up, although they use a pretty persistent mold release agent. I washed it with Dawn and scrubbed it pretty well. Primed it with Badger Stylynresin and had a bunch of areas where it flaked off with the slightest touch. Gave it another thorough bath & scrub and re-primed with Badger and this time it got a grip. Base coat and initial highlights are Tamiya paints applied via airbrush. Highlights and details are Reaper and Vallejo. Then tried out some Secret Weapon and Mig pigments. There's a spot near the back where you can tell it was a printed master because after i applied a wash it picked out the striations. After highlights you can't really see it. Some of the details lose crispness where parts merge i.e. the banding around the gas tanks isn't as sharply defined where it curves down in the back to meet the hull. All in all it's a pretty nice piece! First Chibi I've ever painted, and while I got inspiration from Odin's Chibi's for the eyes, I need a lot more practice to get them anywhere as nice as his!

  14. I went all-in on Greebo Games "Fang and Hood" Kickstarter they did at the end of last year, One of the items included is a bust for Grandma Wolf that I couldn't resist working on. It's one BIG chunk o' resin! Here's a picture with it next to a Young Miniature 1/10 scale bust and a Scale 75 1/12 scale bust from their kickstarter: Greebo Scale_02 by Mckenna35, on Flickr I was trying to figure out how I was going to hold this thing while I worked on it. Finally I cut the heads off a couple of nails, drilled holes in the base and glued them in with 5 minute epoxy: Red pin_02 by Mckenna35, on Flickr Then, to hold that, I cut a couple of 3/4" thick x 6" lengths of 2x4, drilled a couple of holes, and clamped together with a pair of carriage bolts, nuts & washers: Red clamp by Mckenna35, on Flickr So far it's worked out really well and been quite comfortable to hold.

    Corvus Corax Miniatures - Onwards

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/831472366/corvus-corax-miniatures-onwards?ref=hero_thanks Corvus Corax Miniatures is a small hobby project created in 2013. Since then, I have had three projects successfully funded on Kickstarter and all have been fully delivered on time without any delays. The feedback from the backers have only been positive. The Funding Goal is for 50,000 SEK (Swedish Crown) which equals aprox. $5,700, €4,800 or £4,300 (exchange rates may vary, please check your current ones). The goal of this project is to attempt to raise funds for the production of totally 12 miniatures; six for the Clansmen of Caer Loch and six for the Sons of Yetl Black. The miniatures will be cast in high quality, non-toxic, resin. The scale of the miniatures are 35 mm (measuring to the eyes in a standing, straight pose, although some characters can be slightly larger because they are supposed to be large characters). The miniatures have already been sculpted and pre-production resin casts have been completed and approved for final production if the funding is reached. A successful project here will help me be able to pay for the resin casting, and it will help me to kickstart the miniature range and expand it even further! you can also pick up stuff from the previous project size/scale comparisons Typically, the estimated shipping cost break down as following (however, note that this is a rough estimation, and that the shipping cost will be based on the weight of each package, which might differ depending on which miniatures and how many you choose to select). The following is only ESTIMATED and does not mean that it is final. •1-4 miniatures: €5 •5-12 miniatures: €10 •13+ miniatures: €15 This does NOT include tracking. If you want to include tracking (recommended letter) that will cost an extra €10 in addition to the shipping cost (for example, the estimated shipping cost for 12 miniatures with tracking would end up at €20). The insurance for recommended letter is at max value of 2,000 SEK. I've backed and got the minis from all of the previous project and have been delighted with them

    Mother of Dragons

About The concept for Mother of Dragons was born a few years ago. I still recall seeing the beautiful illustration made by Stéphane Wootha Richard posted on his Facebook profile and I fell in love with her immediately – I knew immediately that I wanted to bring her to life in miniature form. Fortunately, Stéphane was also very excited about the idea of a collaboration. We were inspired and driven to start working on the project that we both felt so passionate about and now, with much pride we can finally share this project with you all. What you see here required 2 years of committed development, during which time, our team has created and implemented many variants until we made of it a full range, indeed in addition to the varied scale of the main subject , you will find unique versions such as the bust or the lovely "super deformed" miniature. In fact, this is the characteristic of all of our Kickstarter campaigns — we always enjoy experimenting with new products and offering you something you've never seen before. Every successful kickstarter campaign enable us to share our dreams with the most supportive community in the world. In Mother of Dragons you will find exciting new figures as well as numerous artefacts (artefacts? – I hear you say. Exactly)! Be ready for an ancient Dragon Jar, or a real dragon’s tooth. One thing is certain. They will not be the only exclusives to catch your attention. Now with your continued help and support; it’s time to bring this project to life! So why support this project? Well, first because you’re a hobbyist and a modeller and you can’t wait to lay your hands on a new figure. Average costs: up to 1kg to Europe 14.50 Euro up to 1kg to USA/Canada 19.50 Euro up to 1kg to Asia 31.50 Euro up to 1kg to Australia/South America 38.50 Euro We removed “Poste Italiane” from the carriers choice because the price difference is almost zero and the reliability of that carrier is particularly low, that means you could save 3 or 4 euro from shipping cost, but have great delays in your delivery or pay more in custom taxes, or even have the parcel lost.
  17. Found this in a box labeled "Mierce." I think it is from a KS, I don't know. I can't find it on their web site and they've had about a hundred crowdfunded projects. Does anyone recognize her? I'm looking for an image I can use as an assembly guide.
  18. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/infamyminis/infamy-collectibles The Infamy: Collectibles range combines larger scale full miniatures, busts and complex or special kits. It is aimed aimed primarily at painters and collectors, but some of the models have also been designed with crossover potential in mind for gamers. There's no specific theme or setting - the only criteria for entry into the Collectibles range is that a model is cool and exciting! Each model has been designed and sculpted by amazing artists, will be cast in the high-quality resin that Infamy has become know for, and packed up in luxury bespoke boxes.

    01588: Ungorth, Cthon Summoner

Hey all! Got this resin fig at ReaperCon 2016 and decided to base him using a Basius basing pad with some swampy/murky/creepy terrain. My goal was to emphasize that this disciple is unconcerned with his cleanliness, and is a deadly foe. I managed to work up a color scheme that speaks to faded Christmas colors which led me into an adventure idea wherein this summoner is bringing a twisted version of Krampus into existence for the holidays
  20. About Cerberus Studios Logo Who are we? Hello and welcome to our Kickstarter. We are a small UK miniature design studio born out of a love for all things fantasy and the spark of an idea. We wanted to create a world with a wealth of characters and storylines that immerse and captivate you... so for the last year we have been working on bringing the first of a large range of miniatures/characters to life. We have been completely self funded to get to this point and will aim to move forward with the money raised to deliver our next selection of characters and beasts. It is our intention, with your help, to use any raised funds towards 3D printing, casting, packaging and the distribution of this range. The profits will go towards the realisation of a strong character cast, each developing into their own unique part in our story and becoming miniatures in their own right. If the kickstarter goes beyond our expectations we will expand, creating new miniatures, game designs, and employ more artists to help realise our world and bring it to you. Our World and Characters As with any good story you need heroes and villains and that's exactly where we started. All of these characters form the introductory model range to our story and miniature line up. Character Cast From left to right: The Veiled Emissary Lazarus The Kyrios The Slaver The Miniatures: Each of our cast are conceptualised and developed, blending backgrounds and storylines to link our characters. Using a talented team of artists, the artwork and 3D renders are created to build the foundation of the miniature we present to you. Each of our designs is prototyped using 3D print technology, allowing us to have highly detailed moulds for the resin miniatures that we hope you will enjoy. 3D Printed example - The Veiled Emissary The Completed Renders & Miniatures for you Miniature 1- THE VEILED EMISSARY Our main villain: a 32mm resin highly detailed miniature The Veiled Emissary The Veiled Emissary -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21. The Kickstarter is live: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1138228733/moonstone-fantasy-skirmish-game/description This one is for a skirmish game featuring their wonderfully fantastical minis many of which are available in either metal or resin.
  22. Arc 724

    Gudridr the Golden by RBG

Gudridr the Golden by RBG Sculpted by Tre Manor Hope everyone enjoys this one. This was a resin miniature from the kickstarter. The base is MDF that I cut in half with my scalpel then applied Greenstuff/Epoxy to and sculpted the brink pattern. The rocks on top are actual rocks and sand. FYI - because it's resin on an MDF base with greenstuff it's super light weight. I didn't like the idea of adding height to the miniature by just sculpting the brink on top of the standard MDF base. My solution is as you can see. I tired going simpler in the color scheme with this one and I think it turn out great.
  23. Burning Rose Kickstarter Launch Date April 12th! On 12th April we will be launching a Kickstarter to fund the creation of the Daughters of the Burning Rose, an entire new army of gothic medieval warrior women! The range is heavily inspired by historical armour and weaponry. Models will cover a range of fantasy, steampunk and gothic sci-fi styles, so you can use them in all kinds of game systems and settings. We are using Kickstarter because we have exciting ideas for a huge range of different infantry, character and larger models, and we need your support to help make them a reality. The Models The models will be 28mm heroic scale, designed to closely match similar plastic models from existing manufacturers. Rank and file infantry will be modular and fully poseable with a range of options. All models will be made in hand cast resin, manufactured in our London studios using the same high-quality methods we have been perfecting since 2011. We will be offering around 8-10 different models to start with, but have many more at various stages in the design process which we can unlock if we get enough funding. The Pledge levels There will not be any “early bird” pledges/special offers, so you won’t miss out if you are not able to join us for the launch. You will be able to pledge any amount of money, and choose exactly the models from the collection you need to suit your game system, making a great saving against the retail price. Shipping will be charged after the campaign ends, and you will be able to change and add to your pledge on the pledge manager website. We will have pledge levels at £1, £40, £100 and £250, which will give you access to a number of exclusive models and freebies depending on how much support we get. Not a company I've heard of before, but they do seem to have good reputation as a 3rd party supplier of Imperial Guard bits. There's a few more bits of concept art on their Facebook page.
  24. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1306503490/purgatory-the-next-testament?ref=user_menu Purgatory is a game and world created by Underestimated Games, which in 2016 successfully launched Purgatory on the Kickstarter platform, funding at the first attempt. You can read about the first Kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1306503490/purgatory The Age of Purgatory is a period in the human calendar where Angels, Knightmares and Devils have ravaged our world in the aftermath of the War for Heaven. Angels, responsible for the development and harmony of the worlds under their charge have renounced their oaths, casting off the shackles of subversion of careless Gods to forge their own path in the wake of the betrayer in chief, Satan. As Satan's followers flocked to his banner and turned upon their kin, blades were drawn and siblings slain and only by the combined efforts of Penemue coordinating the loyalist resistance alongside the arrival of the Archangel Michael, lord of the third Heavemy Host, did they banish and cast the renegades out of the seventh Heaven. With Fallen Angels landing on Earth, war erupted and humans were enslaved by the millions or enlisted to serve despicable new masters. But as evil ascends, good rises to meet it and pockets of humans, galvanised by Angels still loyal to their lords formed in small groups to resist the threat posed by the predators in their midst. Now, with the Soul Train and Murder Inc. in play from the first Kickstarter, it is the turn of the Refugees of Religion and possibly the Gangbangers to join, what many are calling the War of Ending. Faith Automatically Appended Next Post: more examples of their minis can be seen in Murder Inc one of those funded in the first KS and more can be seen on facebook here https://www.facebook.com/pg/purgatoryminiatures/photos/?ref=page_internal I pledged in the last KS and they were a pleasure to deal with, excellent communication, on time for a lot of pledges (a couple of minis were delayed so those of us getting them were a couple of months late which is KS terms is nothing), and they've carried on being active with the game subsequenty

    Durotan Bust

I consider this as a speed paint as I 'finished' it in about 6 days. Not incredibly proud of it but not bad either as it takes me months to finish anything that I am ever happy with. This one was really more for fun and I had fun painting him. Goal accomplished!
