  1. I’ve been itching to assemble some plastic minis for a little while now, and with the new Frostgrave Ghost Archipelago nickstarter currently going, that’s where my thoughts have been. Going through my kits, I realized that I only had a single sprue of the original Frostgrave Soldier kit, not the whole box, like I thought. I had also picked up the Sherwood Outlaw conversion kit to make some of them into Robin Hood type bandits. So, I decided to make some outlaws… The conversion kit ended up being a disappointment. The fit of the bits was questionable, and for some reason
  2. I’ve been chipping away at the 1/72 scale fantasy project this morning, with three Caesar elves and a Maid Marion from the old (sculpted in 1964) Airfix Robin Hood set. Assuming I get them based by Sunday, this would bring me up to 33 figures for the month. It hasn’t been too bad, considering all the Christmas hurly-burly.
  3. Good evening everybody, Just finished this one last night, an old Ral Partha Robin Hood, sculpted by Dennis Mize with a Citadel Crossover group of figures way back when. Very classic feel on this one, and of course, even though green was the obvious choice, it ended up taking me forever to figure out where to put what color. Anyhow, very nice little figure, not too complicated to paint!
  4. I cleaned up my painting space this weekend, which made it much more inviting: So, with my significant other off on a business trip early this morning, there was little to keep me from queuing up the podcasts and painting as long as I could stand it. I finished a couple of vintage TSR Star Frontiers ships, for generic SF usage: In the vintage SF line, I also did a simple paint scheme on two Grenadier Traveller Imperial Marines, acquired fairly recently from eBay: I had these two Airfix Robin Hood figures started
  5. This is one of the new Bones Mouslings from Reaper's second Kickstarter. I painted up six (out of ten) of them for a campaign. Two of them are archers. This one is sculpted up like a tiny Robin Hood. WIP thread here. Other painted Mouslings: 92744, Druid, 92745, Archer (squire), 92746, Thief, 92747, Beekeeper, 92749, Assassin
