  1. I haven't done much painting in the last few months compared to earlier in the year but here is another set of 35mm for the game Wasteman by Thunderchild Minatures. These are full of character and a joy to paint. As always comments welcome.
  2. Here is another WIP on a set of Kickstarter models from Thunderchild Miniatures. This is the Gnarly Pilgrim set and I chose to paint 11 of them as a bit of a generic batch. I have painted the bases and then went through a four stage drybrush process with their habits. I can then look at each individual to finish them off. There are some colourful characters in this set of models, all showing some signs of radiation mutation out in the wasteland. Comments welcome.
  3. Here is a quick post of three other models I have finished for the post apocalypse Wasteman game, under the surface of earth is a fantasy beneathesphere. And it is inhabited by you standard dwarves and such creatures including a barbarian and Troglydyte. Here is a two front and back shots of a dwarf. If they make more of these I will be getting them all. And for all you Barbarian fans out there here is another nice sculpt. Once again a nice simple sculpt and a joy to paint. Closeup of the shield detail. And finally a Troglydyte. To round it off here is a group shot of all three together. Thanks for looking.
  4. I am currently following a kickstarter for the remaining models from this company (Wasteman) and decided to purchase some of the current line to evaluate the models up close. I have to say I am really impressed with the quality of the resin models. There were no bubbles to be found on these. I was so impressed I decided to paint them the same day. This is the first time I have undercoated a model in black and worked back up to colour, and this way seems to be a lot easier for a number of reason, in particular the shadows are already in place. These two were given a quick coat of paint to get them to a decent tabletop standard. Overall I am really happy with how they look, and think they look suitable for a post apocalypse game. Interestingly they are not much taller then a lot of the Reaper Heroic scale models. Anyway comments or suggestions welcome. Thanks for looking.
