So, I paint miniatures and make cake toppers. While there’s definitely some crossover in that audience, they’re more often separate. The most crossover I've seen in practice is that once in a while a groom might want a weapon based on a miniatures game. Until now. Here is a Space Marine made to go on top of a cake. It is modeled after the cosplay costume of the best man (the bride and groom were wearing outfits from different settings). So her is the largest Space Marine that I’ve ever painted:

Here are a few of my recent cake toppers. While most of the cake toppers I do are zombie survivors, there's still plenty of room for other realms of geekdom. In this case, here are several that are based on favorite videogames. (Actually, the spartan in blue was a cosplayer who often wears that outfit to conventions as well).

It's been a little while since I posted up some of the zombie wedding cake toppers I make. So here are a couple more- they're more or less standard, except that the first one has the zombies designed to be interacting with the bride and groom a little more than we normally make them (usually, they're separate and climbing/shambling on the cake, while here they're definitely being attacked by the bride and groom). Anyway, here are some sets I've made lately:
