cancelled Counterblast RPG Setting (By Bombshell Miniatures!)
Cygnwulf posted a topic in Kickstarter
You read that right. Bombshell minis is planning to release a Counterblast RPG setting through kickstarter soon. Details are scarce at the moment but we know they'll be using the Savage Worlds system. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bombshellminis/counterblast-for-savage-worlds-rpg -
Hi guys, Physical & digital campaign with sculpts from Broken Anvil Miniatures. 10% off for the next 48hrs on Early Bird. I have just noticed on re-read of rues that Backerkit crowdfunding is actually allowed. I would have posted it yesterday otherwise. I would say it is currently aimed at ones beginning at the hobby, but there are some nice & atypical sculpts there. Possibly more in the stretch goals. https://www.backerkit.com/c/broken-anvil/forged-adventure-series-i#top Some of the highlights from my perspective:

Got another interesting (IMO) Kickstarter starting later today. They've been putting out a lot of freaky artwork, not sure how much is going to be translated in to minis yet though. And live:- https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/footsore-miniatures/coven-a-28mm-dark-fantasy-skirmish-game/description I'm in for a set of witches. I'd like the book too, for the artwork, but I can't justify spending that much on something I'd look through once.

$70 for 100+ miniatures, plus a free Terrax. Some overlap with Bones KS sculpts. Company is based in Spain, and, while this is their first plastic injection molding KS, they've been producing resin miniatures in previous KS. Myself, I've backed Bones I-IV, and double-pledged for Black List Game's Fantasy I and II, so am on the fence. And have a lot of mold lines to scrape. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/juegorama/the-adventurers-and-monsters-plastic-miniatures-edition If you can't get past the Reaper shrink-o-vision, see the thread on Dakka for the pic: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/800826.page#11218943

This Kickstarter just launched for double-sided magnetic dungeon tiles. Similar to Ettinstone tiles, and aside from appearing to be a bit thinner, I can’t see why these wouldn’t work with Ettinstone tiles (I certainly plan to use them that way). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/modularrealms/modular-realms-masters-of-the-waterways

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fallenknight/fallen-knight Story Fallen Knight is a classic cooperative dungeon-crawler set in an outlandish dark fantasy world. Players take on the role of death knights, lost warriors who devour the memories of the dead for their silent gods. Once consumed, these long-forgotten memories can be used to unlock powerful, forsaken abilities. Alongside their mechanical advantages, these memories will be showcased in a beautifully realized artistic comic, revealing new insights into these dark lands.. Through a combination of its foreboding themes, exciting game mechanics, and unique artistic vision, Fallen Knight occupies an innovative space within the board game hobby, and we're so excited for you to be a part of it! Story The Fallen Knights were created by the Gods with the sole purpose of acquiring and reliving lost memories, to better satiate the Gods' voyeuristic appetites. Like dogs on a leash, the Knights were bound by oath to track and consume specific memories, as demanded by their greedy masters. These lost memories -- once consumed -- would offer the Knights a rare, tender glimpse of life. Yet it was fleeting; when returned, they were reduced once more to lifeless husks by their hideous lords. And so it continued for an age, in an endless cycle of servitude, lifelessness and hate.... Now, the Gods are gone. The curse is broken, and the Knights are free to live and relive any memories they encounter. But like bad dreams, these memories are vague and fractured. And so it's time to leave the realm of the Gods, for Fallen Knights must forge their own path, or be lost forever alongside the memories they covet. Corpses As you travel the world, you will absorb the memories of corpses - both found and defeated - in order to enhance your characters, freely developing them as you wish. You will spend 'life' to reanimate 'unsouled' Fallen Knights, mastering their bodies and upgrading their potential effect on the game. Damned sword The Fallen Knight's 'Damned Sword' can naturally morph into new weapons; you'll be able to access the martial abilities of any character class, as long as you've consumed the right memories! Gameplay Fallen knight is a 1-4 player cooperative dungeon crawler board game. The gameplay consists of strategic, visceral combat, embedded within a campaign-driven framework. Though consumed memories, players will unlock the abilities of dead adventurers, which they can then use in combat. Each ability is represented by a unique ability card, composed of an individual action, a character class and weapon type. Synergies are special active or passive skills that Fallen Knights will receive if they have multiple abilities of the same class or weapon type. With hundreds of ability cards and over 20 unique synergies, Fallen Knight provides a dynamic and exciting space for character creation, customization and optimization! Instead of dice, Fallen Knight utilizes a sub-action deck. With over 20 sub-action cards, players can flexibly tailor their strategy to best deal with their immediate foes! Monsters are controlled by a combination of Monster Action cards and Monster Behavior cards. Monster actions - unique to each creature in Fallen Knight - will dictate its actions during boss battle combat. Monster behaviors - drawn from a deck shared by all monsters in the game - will modify the monster's actions by adjusting damage range or type, changing targets, or activating a myriad of special abilities.

Looks like Miniac will be doing something to promote this, which I think will likely take it to funded. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bamdungeondelvers/dungeon-delvers I think the frogfolk are particularly fun, but they have a bunch of other stuff. Worth checking out, there's an early bird special for the STL files or the physical resin prints. Because they're doing it all in house, appears to have a pretty quick turnaround too.

This looks pretty fun. Apologies for formatting on my phone and stuff got lost. They pay a living wage

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/omnissious/omnissious-power-packs-rechargeable-led-kits-for-minis Story The essence of miniature modeling has always been to capture the magic of imaginary worlds. When I was growing up, I used to love looking through magazines showing highly detailed models in epic battle scenes. All those visuals were a catalyst for my imagination thinking of all these magical worlds. I was amazed to find out that not only was it a hobby to build and paint them, but that I could create those magical worlds for myself! Even now, the aspect I appreciate most about this hobby is expressing myself through kitbashing and bringing my imaginations to reality. I’m always thinking of ways to improve the magic of my models so it's only natural that I started thinking of how to add lights to them! I was really inspired by what other members of the community were coming up with and the techniques they used to achieve certain effects. I was talking to a talented painter from my local game shop about adding lights to his miniatures. He said it was a really cool idea but lost interest quickly because of all the problems involved with where to put the batteries and how to change them out. My partner and I looked around and what most people were doing was adding a cell battery to the bottom of their bases and letting it dangle out or sealing something a bit more heavy duty in their models. We set out to design a power system that fits in the base, and is rechargeable to keep your models playable and removing all the hassle with jerry-rigged battery systems. The solution we came up with is an easy plug-in system so once you have the model wired up, you just have to connect it to the power pack and close it up! Once your model is finished and the power pack is in the base, charging your model is as simple as displaying it on the charging station. We used a wireless charging system similar to the Qi chargers used for phones. The charging station uses a USB cord so you can easily charge it in any wall socket or even from your computer! Here is how to install the Omnissious power packs: Step 1: Drill a hole in the base where you want to connect your model Step 2: Thread the electrical wire through Step 3: Plug in your Power Pack With backgrounds in engineering, it was important for us to confirm that our device could be mass produced before asking for funding. So we worked directly with a manufacturer to test and confirm manufacturing plans. We even tested the prototypes on our models and have been using them in our weekly games and tournaments… for uh, science. Check them out! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pghaynes/afk-season-three/description I just found this series, and they have supercuts of the first two seasons. There are also some extra shorts they did you can see on their youtube channel. So there is 5 or 6 hours of viewing for any of you that are self-isolating or are just looking for something to watch. People who'd been playing a fantasy MMORPG wake up as their characters in that world. Can they survive the wilderness, and other players (you know the ones who make the game miserable)? Can they find a way home? Do they want to find a way home? It's quite fun and engaging IMO, and if anyone wants to throw them a few NZD to get the end of the story done, I think we'll have a great thing for gamers to enjoy for generations to come.

Designs include cobblestone, cobblestone, green 40K, and yeah I'll pick up more cobblestone. Made in the USA. Economic disruption in China has shut down non-essential production, including plastic injection figures. Hello all - Chroniclers of Barbaric Splendor is now live. It features licensed miniatures from creators of swords and sorcery such as David C. Smith (Oron, Red Sonja, Bran Mak Morn) and Howie Bentley (The Snake-Man's Bane). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1327314385/chroniclers-of-barbaric-splendor/posts It is perfectly reasonable that this will come up, so I wanted to post this here as well: It is no secret my first campaign was delayed, although fulfilled. Part of that was poor planning and expectations, and part was health issues that exacerbated each other and financial issues that arose from that. All such issues are in the past, and I am proud that I overcame them to fulfill what I feel was an amazing Kickstarter with amazing miniatures. Since then I have been operating Barbaric Splendor Miniatures and have been delivering excellent service and product. I have learned also from others in the industry and feel confident I am offering a well-thought out campaign that will be a success for all of us! 5 of the miniatures have already been sculpted, and sculptors lined up for the rest, including add-ons and stretch goals. Dark Platypus studio will be doing the casting - from previous experience I can attest to both the quality and timeliness of their work. Thus, the only risks would be possible delays in sculptor schedules for stretch goals and the fact that I will be doing all the packing and shipping myself when not working my regular job could lead to slower times getting things out if the campaign is wildly successful. I understand that some will be displeased with the delays of the first campaign, but I feel I have proven myself over the past year with Barbaric Splendor Miniatures, and I look forward to bringing more great Swords and Sorcery miniatures to you!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cyric/second-wave-more-90mm-miniatures-from-mcc?ref=discovery_category_newest About Iyaxill & Gutmeg Pack Konohana e Otogi Pack Hello and welcome to our second Kickstarter ! As many of you already know our first try have failed, but we promised our friends that we will be back, so here we are, with the old 2 models and 2 brand new ones! Full Offer Why we are on Kickstarter ? All of the models shown already modeled and test printed, ready to go into production. We need your help for the final phase: molding, mastering, and casting runs are expensive. It would take us a lot of time to raise the funds to put these models into production over time and we ask for funds to make all models printed and packed. We want to put these models into your hands as soon as possible, and Kickstarter can make that possible. We are a group of friends from Italy, avid players of Wargames, Role Playing Games and miniatures painting and collecting. I personally have a miniature collection started in 1985 with thousands of pieces; maybe we can say that we played more or less every game with miniatures of the last 30 years… Now we want to create the miniatures we waited uselessly for years that someone else can produce. We have had our miniatures sculpted by some of the best artist of the world, and we will print them on the best services on the market. We strive to give you the best of the best service available. Iyaxill, Orc Champion Iyaxill, Orc Champion The Orcs are a nomadic people, and can be found nearly in all lands of Valenor (it is said that some Orcs live even in the oceans!). Iyaxill, like many Orcs, is a follower of Gharuk, the God of Fire. But his faith is so strong that he has become a Choosen of Gharuk, a priest of sort but a powerful user of fire magic. Casting Master Few enemies can stand before a giant Orc in full tribal armour and wielding fire as his weapon. When a Choosen of Gharuk call a tribe to war, thousands of Orcs reply to his call, hundreds of Firestone slinger pelt the enemy line with explosive stones, giant fire elementals walk at the side of priests of Gharuk trampling anything that stands before them... Gutmeg: Goblin Rifleman Gutmeg: Goblin Rifleman A Goblin is smaller and weaker than all other races of Valenor, and in a world where slavery is practiced the Goblin race suffered more than any other. Goblin can be vicious fighter, that use any tricks and any means to beat an enemy, but usually they get beaten back and defeated. When the first firearms appeared on the market, for the Goblin was an item sent from the gods. With a firearm a Goblin is the same as any other race, the Great Equalizer. Some Goblins take this to the extreme and create a real cult of Gunpowder. The Gunpowder Cult is a group of fanatics that revere their weapons and live only to tally how many they kills. (All non-cult creatures are fair target) some of them get the "Flamebearer" rank, like Gutmeg, to show their total dedition to the cult. Losing their weapon is the worst offense a Gunpowder Cult member can do, even if they acquire a new weapon, the old one must be handed down to a new member of the cult. To this end the Flamebeares hold their firepowder reserve stocked under a constant flame the carry on their back. When a Flamebearer fear to be defeted, he opens the flame conduit to reach the gunpowder storage, immulating himself as a living bomb. For our second year models we want to change our creation process, so instead of historical research and lore history we started from scratch. We put a lot of ideas on paper, burned them and start again a couple of time until we have a number of original stories and character ideas, then we contacted the great Aitor Holgado a really talented artist to develop our ideas. He got us a lot of great miniatures ideas, and we choose two: Iyaxill & Gutmeg. We then give the design of Gutmeg to Alessandro Depaoli our great 3D artist, and Iyaxill to a young but talented sculptor: Ocampo Lopez Julio Cesar from Argentina !
