For those familiar with Heroquest this should be pretty easy to read, for those who aren't, it may be a bit hard, but just give it a try. I'll include enough information to play without Heroquest assuming it gets somewhere. Heroes Heroes will be essentially the same 4 basic classes that Heroquest initially had. There will be a Warrior, Rogue, Adept, and Wizard. There is no leveling in a normal sense, instead characters can spend X gold to buy new abilities. Abilities are located on a simple chart and you roll to see what you get. I know some won't like random, but some abilities are

Hi all I am from the Uk and wanted to show what i've been up to. I have been collecting and painting figures for a few years now but until recently had'nt painted any of the Reaper figures. However that has changed and hopefully you will enjoy my work. I am happy to receive hints and tips as I find that helps with the next figure. This is still a WIP from the Bones series, what do you guys think of the white armour? Heres the finished Bones that are now awaiting a dungeon to crawl through...

I stumbled upon this whilst perusing the internets today... Apparently there is a Spanish company that has (who knows how?) obtained the license to redo Heroquest for distribution in Spain. Their plan is to only sell in Spain, but release the game in several languages. So, a person might be able to order the game from any online retailer in Spain. Here is a link to the company, Gamezone Miniatures. Their minis look decent and they definitely have the 'not gw' thing down. They are supposed to be putting up a Heroquest dedicated webpage in October sometime. The rumors (news?) seem to be

Anybody got a source for 1" grid scaled pictures for traps and tricks? I'd like to put together some little random events for dungeon crawls and I thought a graphic printed and glued to the bottom of a Hirst Arts tile would be a cute way of doing it. Ideally what I'd like to do is have several ranging from "just a loose tile" to things like paved-over wells and tunnels, caches, and a variety of traps. Alternatively they could be just something pretty to print and make a random draw deck of hazards. Any sources? EDIT: from suggestions below, Fat Dragon Games Dungeon Perils 1: ht

The past couple of years, the folks at Comicpalooza here in Houston have been trying to get me to bring my dungeon crawl over for their con. Unfortunately, it usually falls around the last weekend of May, which meant that it has usually followed ReaperCon by just a few scant days. Now, Terri is fairly supportive of my gaming, but even I'm not dumb enough to try back-to-back weekends like that. This year, however, ReaperCon is a month earlier, so I agreed to run the crawl at Comicpalooza. It falls over Memorial Day weekend. I'll be running the crawl 3 slots on Saturday (bascially all day l

I got my PDFs today! Goalsystem Delves is kind of a hybrid, letting you run a dungeon crawl or a points-match skirmish. That's all I know so far! The description is why I bought in. Even with a S&W game in the offing, I still wanted some unequivocally miniatures-driven fantasy action. I have high hopes!
