  1. Back again with another recent wintery addition to Frostrun. Here we have the caribou from EC3D's Wilds of Wintertide Kickstarter which has been beautifully printed from EscharloneGaming on Etsy. These caribou, or reindeer, are fantastic little models with just enough detail to make painting them a blast, but not so much texture as to make them a pain. These are the first 3D printed minis I have ever purchased or painted, except for a few Heroforge minis. I didn't know what to expect from the quality of design or delivery, but was very pleased with the results! I painted up two variations, one with a lighter coat and a white nose, and another with a darker coat and a black nose. I was absolutely thrilled with the result and they have made a wonderful addition to my campaign of Frostrun. More Photos below the spoiler: I have a handful of other minis from this line also printed by EscharloneGaming and I am looking forward to painting them up as well, when the inspiration finally seizes me. What are your favorite 3D models? Check out this WIP for the rest of my Frostrun project.
  2. "A ship with a skull on the stern has to have some fierce sounding name like the Devil's Scorn!" The Devil's Scorn, a ship from EC3D: Depths of Savage Atoll Kickstarter. Printed as usual on my Creality Ender-3
  3. Here's my next finished buildings from EC3D's Kickstarter Project "Empire of Scorching Sands", the Desert Outpost and Merchant House.
  4. Recently completed: The Shipwreck 3D printed from the Kickstarter set Depths of Savage Atoll, by EC3D Designs.
  5. Two simple dwellings, 3D prints from Empire of Scorching Sands, a Kickstarter by EC3D Designs.
  6. Hello, Now that the Kickstarter project, Depths of Savage Atoll, from EC3D Designs, is through the funding phase, I thought I would share some of my painted examples of the FDM print tests. All were done on an Ender-3 (mostly stock other than a mirror bed and a metal extruder replacement) The group: Merfolk: Merrow: Kraken Cultists: Water Elementals: Giant Octopus: Deep Devils: Shark Men: And what Sea campaign would be complete without Pirates?
  7. Seeing as there wasn't a thread yet, I wanted to share another project that just hit Kickstarter, "DEPTHS OF SAVAGE ATOLL" It's a great project I was happy to be involved with, doing some of the FDM print testing. Everything looks great and prints well! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/depths-of-savage-atoll-3d-printable-tabletop-model/description Welcome to "Depths of Savage Atoll" - an island chain on the edge of the world where the currents of the ocean, waves of the sea, sands of the beaches, and old-growth of the jungle are all teeming with life, adventure, and countless dangers. Enrich your tabletop RPG or wargaming experience with 3D print-ready minis, monsters, terrain, and buildings from island, nautical, and undersea environment. This Kickstarter provides character minis, monsters, scatter terrain, buildings, and more for you to produce at home on your FDM or resin 3D printer. Rewards are for digital STL files to print the products shown and described in this campaign. Rewards are split into two categories: Scatter, and Minis - designed to be used together or independently, and all for normal tabletop gaming scale (28-32mm).
  8. Now that the project is being released, I wanted to share my work testing the awesome "Skyless Realms" Kickstarter from EC3D. All pieces were printed on an Ender 3 A diorama look at the Skyless Realms: The Entrance itself: The Formorians: An Arachnid Mutant: A Dragon of the Deep: Dark Elves: Gray Dwarves: Gnolls: A Deep Lizardman: Mind Horrors: Big Mike: A Cave Ray: Poor, downtrodden Slaves: And...look out!
