  1. Hi, After a bit of a painting break, I resumed my effort in getting my Forces of Natures army for Kings of War painted. I present here the Naiads Heartpiercers. This is a small unit of armour-clad, harpoon-gun-toting, water creatures. The paint job is a typical table-top army quality, but I did spend a bit more time on making the base more interesting to fit with the rest of my Forces of Nature Army. Also, I found that the name "Heartpiercer" fits pretty well with the whole Valentines things going on today. So it is a good day to post those: C&C always appreciated
  2. Hi, I'm continuing to paint my "Forces of Nature" army for Kings of War. Here is the Greater Earth Elemental. The sculpt was OK, but I found it to be too "Rock-ish". (I want an Earth Elemental, not a Stone Golem). So I sprinkled a bit of "dirt flock" to make it look more natural and earthy. I let you judge if you think it worked. For the color scheme, I kept it pretty light as i want it to look more good than evil... (though the rule books states "Forces of Nature" are Neutral...) I also spent some time modeling the base (which I don't usually do for my armies), to keep with the them
  3. Haven't posted in a good long while now due to, ehrm.. Mostly laziness, but also christmas and priorities I guess. So hello again folks! :P Had a productive couple of days this week. Finished off two half-done models on my shelf and did my stone golems + this guy. Also started the two clay golems. I tried keeping it simple. Being such a big model I wanted to get it on the table and off the table asap so he didn't succumb to the ever present "Oh look at this other cool guy I could paint instead"-syndrome.
