  1. Well, now. This is a bit of an unusual project. Earlier this year @malefactus kindly sent me some unpainted miniatures that he thought I could get some use out of. Among them was an already based and primed copy of Reaper's 14016, Judas Bloodspire, Necropolis Warlord, sculpted by the legendary Werner Klocke. I had already painted a quickie version the Bones version of the sculpt, 77160: Judas Bloodspire, Vampire and had discovered how fun the sculpt was, so I was pleased to have another to paint, especially since it was mounted on one of malefactus' inimitable bases.
  2. Hello everyone, Once again I am starting a new project. To not disturb the continuation of the story, I put the remarks and so on into spoiler boxes. Thanks to @malefactusand @Silvervanefor supporting my idea and providing first feedback, Thanks to @Glitterwolfand @Cyradisfor further support And to @OneBoot, @buglips*the*goblin and @Chaoswolf for listening to my first attempt. Without further ado – let’s go! C
  3. So I have painted the Bones figure 77160: Judas bloodspire (on the right): He's a magnificent sculpt with a cape that's all over the place. And, indeed, his cape hucked up like fallen angel wings is how he appears in all the in-store images, metal or Bones: https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/judas/sku-down/14016 The problem as I see it with this is that it is a very precarious construction. In Bones I felt safe enough to paint away merrily, but I recall stating even in my WIP that I would quake at the challenge of keeping a metal figure of this pinned
  4. Well, we have my next installment in some townsfolk Adventuring Kids. Cuthem the Barbarian with a ummmm.... follower of sorts, Spire. The names were given by @SisterMaryNapalm in the WIP I have running for these little tykes. Spire was donated to the cause of this little scene by @malefactus. Love the stuff he makes. Scene Set if fiction by @SisterMaryNapalm "Who are you?" "Me? Ah - don't mind me. I am just an obscure bystander." "You are? You look like a big talking mushroom." "Yeah ... I mean ... what a nice axe you've got there. It's pretty sharp, isn't
  5. This is a Dragyri Warrior ( I believe) from Dark Age, he was sent to me by @malefactus a while ago to contribute to my Lost World Project. WIP: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/&page=117 In my Lost World he is Drakh a mutant turtle warrior. He has a pet Meso, a Raptor Hatchling from Bombshell Miniatures. Base is made with a Greenstuffworld Roller Pin and some tuft/flock. Here they are, the last pictures are with my Jungle Photobackdrop Board to show
  6. Not all was peace and quiet in the forest. Lately a group of little demons had infested the place. These Imps, Hordlings or whatever they were called, harassed the little animals, the fairies and they damaged the trees and the mushrooms. Even the Grand Mushroom watched in horror how they terrorized the Forest, but he could do nothing. One day the Imps captured one of the fairies and beat her up. She could barely escape and she fled crying. Almost leaving the forest, she came by a small dirt road, and she noticed a cart coming. Quickly she hid between t
  7. A while ago Malefactus send me some miniatures as a gift to contribute to my Lost World Project. His friend Cpt. John saw it and decided to include this wonderful miniature. WIP here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-xherman1964-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/ EUREKA Miniatures 28mm War Turtle ( the Little ones are smaller but they fit right in). Thanks Malefactus and Cpt. John for this amazing gift! I hope I did it proud. I connected a few Tabletop Art Resin bases to create a bigger base f
  8. Another piece for my Lost World Project. WIP here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/ I was inspired by @malefactus who made a few scenic photo backdrop boards. ( He also send me the War Turtle as a gift, he is in the last pic) I figured I'll give it a try, would be nice to take pics of finished recruits and monsters in the right surroundings. So I made this little board out of foam, Some greenstuff and Milliput on wood to create an Aztec Style Dungeon Door, I
  9. Happy birthday, O constructor of a wonderfully twisted, beautiful little world!
  10. Around Christmas I received a gift of the Pumpkin Assassin by our wonderful friend Malefactus. Shortly after I returned from Holiday, and I have been ill until three days from now (least no energy). I finally have completed (to my satisfaction) the Pumpkin Assassin. I have adored ever moment of painting, and basing him. Thank you kind sir for the challenge, the joy, and the ability to laugh and chuckle as I am sure you did while creating him. Here are some photo's to show what I have done with him. Now that I am healed (chuckles and screams probably helped a great deal) I will sele
  11. So as some of you know, I have been feeling pretty crummy for the past few days, between life and being ill... Well that came to a SCREECHING HALT, when I opened the package I got in the mail today.... With a backdrop I think I know now how some of the other folks around here must feel.... I am Immortalized in Miniature! Also a surprise I get to paint a Malefactus' Original!!!! Thanks so much Mal! I love them to pieces!!!!!! _____ [LIKE] <---<<< My own personal 'LIKE' button! You can all use it if you like as well!!!!!
  12. A little while ago I purchased Hasslefree's "Fairies Wear Boots" piece. The Gothic Punk like Fairy stomps on candy. Now I kept thinking that it would be fun to have her chasing little Imps and stomp those into the ground. So I got me some little familairs and stuff from Reaper. Then Malefacus ( Al) send me a wonderful Mushroom he sculpted. To top things off, Knarthex ( George) send me some stuff including a nice oval wooden plinth. Thinking about it all, I realised I now have the ingredients to start on this piece. The Idea
