  1. Hello everyone, I'm updating this post with more pictures I took of the Irontongue Duergar Squad I completed recently. The enlaged ones, side by side. From left to right on the first picture; 03883 Dark Dwarf Irontongue Priest, 03899 Dark Dwarf Smiter, 03898 Dark Dwarf Pounder, 03892 Dark Dwarf Striker. All four Dark Heaven Legends models were sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  2. Hello everyone, here are pictures of the last Dark Dwarf I painted for my Duergar squad. I converted a 44109, Enlarged Dark Dwarf Smiter sculpted by Bobby Jackson to make it look more like a Striker. I changed the original hammer head for a 3D printed two sided meat tenderizer and added the eye patch. Thanks to Derek feedback, I really pushed myself on this one. I think I spent something like 3 or 4 hours on the beard only. It is standing on a 2 inches square base. The ball and chain are made of Milliput and a 3mm hobby chain. Your comments are welcome. Group pictures coming soon.
  3. Enlarge! Hello everyone, here are pictures of the 44109, Enlarged Dark Dwarf Smiter I completed last night. The size of this model allowed me to add more texture on the leather. I also added light effect on the face and the shield rivets. For those of you who may wonder, Dark Dwarves (Duergar) can once a day use their spell-like ability to enlarge themselves. This Bones Black model was sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  4. Hello everyone, here comes the heavy infantry. I completed this other Duergar Yesterday, this one is the Dark Dwarf Pounder of Clan Irontongue sku 03898. This Dark Heaven Legends model was sculpted by Bobby Jackson. Group picture at the end of post.
  5. Hello everyone! Fourth in the series, here comes the Smiter. Another amazing Duergar model sculpted by Bobby Jackson. This is the metal version 03899, Dark Dwarf Smiter. It's also avalable in Bones Black under sku 44108.
  6. Hello everyone, I completed this Dark Dwarf today. I really enjoy painting these Duergar models. They remind me of the D&D Forge of Fury adventure module. This one is the Irontongue Priest sku 03883. It was sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  7. I need some help people. I've got a hobbit down to the last 25% to get the painting done. I need to try my hand at nmm and this is the one. Sting is a magnificent sword that glows blue when goblins are near. I need some guidance on how to make this happen. Give me some inspiration, folks.
  8. Monique de Noir 54mm #01444 NMM is not easy and I’m still working on my technique. I COULD have gone with a blue glaze to give it more of a steel look but I didn’t want to I do love the larget models though, easier to handle. TY for the great customer service on this btw, ReaperMini. My original one arrived with have her face higher up, so she looked funny. Customer Service was more than happy to resend it (I did send pics) after they verified the issue wasn’t on this new one. Sorry for the pic quality, I am not great at taking pics.
  9. Hello everyone, I completed this model last night. 14124 Kevis the Overlords Mage was sculpted by Chaz Elliott. This guy will be an evil evoker NPC in a campaign I'll be running.
  10. Hello everyone, I completed another mummy last night. 14280, Chosen of Sokar the Nefsokar Sergeant sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. Another amazing model, full of nice ornaments and sporting a crocodile head. Once again, I used the nnm technique and opted for purple clothes to distinguish it from the other mummies I recently painted.
  11. Hello everyone, here are pictures of 14098, Khufu the Nefsokar Warlord sculpted by Bob Ridolfi. This Warlord model is one of my all time favorite miniature, the scorpions on the axe, headpiece and necklace are fabulous. The storyline behind this mini is also fantastic.
  12. Good day everyone, here are pictures of 77105, Kagunk "Voorhees" the Ogre Chieftain sculpted by Tre Manor. This is the Bones version of the model. I added the axe blade on its spiked club, mounted it on a 2 inches square base and painted it with Reaper MSP paint.
  13. Hello everyone, here are pictures of SantOrc Claus 07007, Orc Warrior of the Ragged Wound Tribe. This Dungeon Dwellers model was sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  14. Hello everyone, this one is for all of you Nosferatus, Vampires and Childrens of the Dark lovers. 02867, Matthias the Twisted sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  15. Hello everyone, here are pictures of 02811, Dain Deepaxe. This one took me a little longer to finish. There is so many details on this model, it's amazing. This Dark Heaven Legends model was sculpted by Werner Klocke.
  16. So this is me trying to paint non-metallic metal for the first time. The mini is one of the dwarves from thehnolog's castlecraft line. Since it is my first, I'm pretty happy with the result. I hope I'll get better at this over time. All comments and suggestions regarding NMM are welcome. Thanks for looking!
  17. Hi everyone, here's another 77236, Bloodmane Gnoll Warrior. The original version this time. This model was sculpted by Tre Manor. 77236, Bloodmane the Gnoll Warrior and his friend 77234 Boneflail the Gnoll Cleric.
  18. In pursuit of my goal, here is another Gnoll that I finished painting last night. This 77234, Boneflail female Gnoll Cleric was sculpted by Tre Manor. In spite of their devotion to Yeenoghu, few Gnolls have any interest in ritual and there is few clerics or shamans to be found among the savage packs. Gnolls would sometimes summon demons to fight alongside them.
  19. Hi everyone, here's another Gnoll I painted. 77388, Gnoll Warrior sculpted by Bobby Jackson.
  20. Disciplined like a hobgoblin, I'm staying home painting some stuff. Here's a Chainmail Miniatures model 88349, hobgoblin fighter I completed last night. This model was sculpted by Mike McVey and produced by Wizards of the Coast in 2001 for the Drazen's Horde faction. I used Reaper’s MSP acrylics to paint it. Stay safe and disciplined.
  21. Hi everyone, here are pictures of the first model I painted this year. Seems like I'm having a busy January... 02789, Talarand the Blackguard was sculpted by Tim Prow. It's one of the top five favorite model I painted so far. This suit of armor is astounding.
  22. So as the title says this is the 1st mini I've attempted nmm on and I could use some advice on what I'm doing wrong and how to improve, please and thank you in advance.
  23. Hi everyone, here's another Dungeon Dwellers model. 07012, Caerindra Thistlemoor was sculpted by Bobby Jackson. I painted it with Reaper’s MSP acrylics, shaded with Citadel inks, used Vallejo Acrylic Matt Varnish and 3D printed the base. Her left eye is not as sharp as I'd like it to be, she seems to have a black eye, I will need to fix this.
  24. It's far from perfect... but as my first test bed, I like to think he came out decently. Enjoy!
  25. I’m still struggling with nmm but as the community knows, it’s pretty difficult. Anyway I’m generally happy with this figure. If you have tips on nmm that worked for you, please share.
