After thrice-plundering the rice pudding against the orders of his deity (and his code of conduct), the Poky Little Paladin went roly-poly, pell-mell, tumble-bumble down the alignment scale until he came to the fiendish end and stopped short. "Dear me!", exclaimed his deity. "What a pity you're so evil! Now my forgiveness is all gone!" But the Poky Little Paladin snuck out later and dug a hole under the fence to find a new patron... I attempted to do implied lighting on this guy, but the specular qualities of the metallic paint made this really hard because it was shiny under some light and transparent under others. Is there a trick to doing this with metallic paint, or is the trick really "don't do metallic paint"? :-)

I've been hitting a slump in my painting that's been keeping me from these forums for quite a while. I'm trying to regain my rythm and getting some pieces done. This is one of them: This is my very own Sir Forscale. I figured I had to have one. Somewhat of a quick fix.

This is Hasslefree Sebastian the grey knight (HFH008), a very fun figure to pain. Seemed like he painted himself, it went so fast. I added some minor OSL (Object Source Lighting from the toerch) as well.

This is Hasslefree Daphos, Twisted Dark Elf Anti-Hero (HFE004) painted up as a High Elf, since there is not that many Elf miniatures with large swords out there. The blue metal is Vallejo Gunmetal Blue with Reaper Steel and Reaper Silver metallic paints.

I don't finish much in the way of "properly" painted miniatures now that I'm quickdipping my way through the unpainted pile, but every once in a while I need a miniature for a game. This is one possible representation for a "The One Ring" character in a game I'm playing. He's a black smith, hence the shield emblem which is supposed to represent a flame. For some reason I always take a fair while to base coat the miniature, set it aside and then rush the finish. This is no different, but luckily I'm usually happy with the result as well. This one is no exception, eventhough I could have worked with it some more.
