Signum Games have been creating and casting fantasy resin miniatures for several years, and our miniatures have a lot of admirers from all over the world. 3D printers are nowadays becoming more and more popular, therefore we decided to join the market and make our miniatures more accessible to you. The imagination of our artists and modellers have no borders, and sometimes there are just too many new characters (or variations of one character) for us to be able to cast all at once in resin. But we don't want new characters to just gather dust on the hard drive and wait for their time to come. After all, now we finally can share all our new products with you! All of our miniatures have 32mm scale, which was not a suitable scale for some board games. All our models in files will be pre-assembled and have an option of individual parts. You can learn all about the quality of our models and to print files simply by clicking on the link and download a free model! The Signum Workshop project is only at the very beginning of its journey, so we will be happy to see your support, questions, advice, and comments on Patreon! By supporting us on Patreon, every month you will get access to a new set of STL files of our newest miniatures. Dear friends, this set introduces 4 factions that will appear on our Patreon in the future. You will meet Plague fighters from the far East, proud warriors from the hot South, harsh warriors from the cold North, and adventurers from the mountains of the West.
  2. A new Kickstarter from Durgin Paint Forge coming late September / early October. Wasn't a backer of the previous ones, but I don't think there's been any issues. They've been working away at this one for a while, so most of the minis have already been previewed on their blog. Now live:- https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/durginpaintforge/the-elves-of-inneath-32mm-fantasy-miniatures?ref=user_menu
  3. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dungeonlair/dungeon-accessories-torture-imprisonment-and-sacrifice/description I backed a previous KS these people did and even though it had some struggles due to manufacturers giving them problems, they still delivered and had a good quality product. It's resin and comes either painted or unpainted. Some of the stuff here is generic, but it's worth a look.
  4. I went all-in on Greebo Games "Fang and Hood" Kickstarter they did at the end of last year, One of the items included is a bust for Grandma Wolf that I couldn't resist working on. It's one BIG chunk o' resin! Here's a picture with it next to a Young Miniature 1/10 scale bust and a Scale 75 1/12 scale bust from their kickstarter: Greebo Scale_02 by Mckenna35, on Flickr I was trying to figure out how I was going to hold this thing while I worked on it. Finally I cut the heads off a couple of nails, drilled holes in the base and glued them in with 5 minute epoxy: Red pin_02 by Mckenna35, on Flickr Then, to hold that, I cut a couple of 3/4" thick x 6" lengths of 2x4, drilled a couple of holes, and clamped together with a pair of carriage bolts, nuts & washers: Red clamp by Mckenna35, on Flickr So far it's worked out really well and been quite comfortable to hold.
  5. Not useful for gaming, but they look like lovely painting challenges: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arcticencounter/adrift-and-at-peace-resin-miniature-kits-of-man-and-nature Arctic Encounter is a model displaying a traditional Greenland kayak hunter in a peaceful moment witnessing two narwhals - a mother and calf - passing by. The hunter silently observes, draws his paddle from water in order not to disturb them. The model is scale 54mm (1:32), and the kayak is about 16 cm. The whales are about 10 and 16 cm long for calf and mother, respectfully. I aim to make this as historically accurate as possible, but will take some freedom to adapt to the medium and make it visually interesting. I won’t lie, there are a lot of parts. And tiny parts too. And you have to assemble harpoon, harness and bladder with wire, and lots of little bones and wire to hold everything in place. I will include a detailed instruction in kit. Don’t worry, it will be fun! All the different parts of ‘Arctic Encounter’ The Wanderer is a model showing a hiker on a hill with her dog, a Malinois Shepherd, resting and enjoying the view. She has a bottle of water in hand, but the set also comes with interchangable hands holding a wine bottle or a gun, allowing you to tell other stories with the model. She comes with a detailed backpack. The model is size 1:20, or 90 mm. The model comes with a large scenic round resin base. The base is about 95 mm in diameter.
  6. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/859512613/the-sentinels/description Probably a pass for me as these are a little expensive and not my style. However, having backed other Ouroboros projects I can tell you their work is outstanding and they deliver on time

  8. I finished this one a few months ago but forgot to post. It is a figure from Durgin Paint Forge's Second Government of Inneath Kickstarter. It was an interesting one to paint as some of the details were not really defined so it took some guess work to figure out what is what. Overall though, I am very happy with how he turned out, especially the wine bottle as I believe is is the first one that I have painted.
  9. <link here> Tomb Guardians over the past year has been asked to release our miniatures in a resin/plastic material because a lot of you do not like metal. So for nearly a year we have discussed and researched the best way to produce a high quality, high detail miniature that is far above the current standard on the market. We are happy to announce that we have found a method and decided to release all our 28mm monsters in a High Resolution Resin. These miniatures will come with a 1 year guarantee, if you break one we will replace it for FREE! Just mail it back to us. Bobby Jackson, Jason Weibe, Gene Van Horne and Patrick Keith help create these amazing creatures. We hope you enjoy our Monsters and want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
  10. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2126421571/harbour-life?ref=discovery_category_newest Story Hello, we are the "Mystery Studio" team, we make high-quality collectible miniatures and terrain mostly on a 28-35mm scale. We always had few fantasy elements on the table. And we decided to create them ourselves. In this project, we present to you a large set of fantasy city port. At the moment, we have already made prototypes and first copies of almost all the miniatures, except for a few. All models are ready for production. We sincerely hope for your support, because the emergence of new, interesting projects depends on the success of this project.
  11. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/yetlblack/corvus-corax-miniatures-sons-of-yetl-black Story Corvus Corax Miniatures is a small hobby project created in 2013. Since then, four projects have successfully funded on Kickstarter and all have been fully delivered on time without any delays. The feedback from the backers have only been positive! The goal of this project is to raise funds for the production a total of four (4) miniatures for the Sons of Yetl Black. The miniatures will be cast in high quality, non-toxic resin. The scale of the miniatures is 35mm (measuring to the eyes in a standing, straight pose, although some characters may be slightly larger because they are supposed to be large characters). Strendu Bodaway Pachoa Niyol (Actual copies of the resin miniatures. Note that the resin miniatures below are not 100% in scale with each other, but resized for editing purposes.) Grefven always makes lovely things and is a reliable KS creator
  12. Putting my new Photon through its paces printing some Heroforge sculpts. The halfling operative is actually a mash-up of two Heroforge sculpts in Tinkercad. (Why can't Heroforge let you have just a single cyberarm?) Didn't think to photograph her till I had the primer on: The first print of the gnome solarion didn't have enough supports on the arm with the fireball, so after cleaning the resulting lump out of the vat and trying again with more supports, here she is, supports and all:

  14. Just wanted to pass the word: Dragon Bait miniatures has a kickstarter up for 9 Fantasy Kung-fu style Turtles in 28mm. As an add-on, they are also re-releasing 4 out of production dungeon monsters in resin, formerly available in pewter from Otherworld Miniatures (John Pickford Otyugh and landshark, Andrew May Cockatrice, George Fairlamb Cerepod). Joe Corsaro from Dragon Bait has successfully completed three other campaigns--as a backer for his grunt goblins campaign I can say that the kickstarter was well run, delivered on time, and produced a quality product. Here's the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/boxturtlereb/the-boxer-rebellion-nine-kung-fu-style-turtle-adventurers
  15. So I have started prepping this baby for painting: And I am disappointed with the quality, the mold lines are sooo bad, and the vents are right in the middle of details, and some places the vents were cut in such a way that adjacent details were lost. Just a few of the many pieces, black knife for scale. Nasty mold line, with my first pass at it Vents in detail, there were worse ones that I already mostly fixed on another piece: For as much as this thing cost, even at Kickstarter pricing, I guess I expected better.
  16. Got this from a eBay seller in china, not sure if it's a recast. It was a very nice cast in high density white resin. Very little clean up only had to remove some sprue nubs on some of the larger pieces not really any mould lines or flashing. Haven't been able to find out much about this piece other than that it was apparently at Wonder Festival 2018. I would really like to know who sculpted it.
  17. On top of the Sherman Jumbo, I have a new project. This is Frozen Ninja 3D's resin bust of a cloaked gal holding a small flaming dragon. I picked it up ReaperCon last fall. There are four parts: a base, a robed torsos, a hooded head, and a pair of arms holding the dragon. Over the casting was good, but there were some issues with the resin sheaving (splitting off in layers) in the arms and the underside of the torso. These were sanded down, the given a layer of putty, then further sanded down. You can see the putty in the pics. I also hollowed out the sleeves and a portion of the hood. These were filled in almost to the opening. I used a Dremel tool and ball cutters to hollow them out and tried to match the inside with the exterior folds. One unique (to me) thing is the base; there is a two-leve' base with some symbols on it, and small stone house built on top of that. The roof structure is built into the torso's back. It sure beats the usual brass rod... Pics are where I'm at so far. Qs and Cs welcomed.
  18. This Bombshell Miniatures' 75mm resin Tara purchased at last year's ReaperCon. She's actually a skosh over 80mm. She's also listed as 1/24th scale, which puts her a tad over six feet. The kit is four pieces - body/legs/upper arms/head, lower arms incorporating a head and sword, and a small rocky base. The body is well toned with noticeable muscle definition. My example had a large resin blob hanging down betwixt her legs (the one time I don't check a figure for issues/parts). Anywho, Dremel to the rescue. I routed out the blob and reshaped her thighs. Since her skirt is very short, I painted in a pair of expensive solid black tactical La Perla boyshorts. Nuthin' but the best... The rest is of the casting was fine although the sword scaled out to over 40 inches and was too thick. I took some of the length off and thinned it down. I also added a scabbard, since none was included. An odd omission... I also added a secondary weapon in the form of a boot knife. The skin tones are the new Bones colors and, since she has a barbarian look about her, I imparted a somewhat dirty and sweaty look to her - no smooth boudoir look transitions here. I also toned down the highlights in her hair - barbarian vs shampoo commercial. I did add a bit of makeup to her face (contradictory, I know). All other paints are Reaper's MSPs. The base was extended with Aves Apoxie Sculpt, stippled with an old oil painting brush with kitty litter rocks and pebbles. I added pointed ears to the severed head, and painted it using the Dark Elf Skin triad. Qs and Cs welcomed. Glen

  21. Some pretty good deals in the early bird specials: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/399883540/orc-warband-collectors-by-yedharo-and-gt-studio-cr Offering 30mm, 70mm, Busts and 1/10 () Scale figures. Something for everyone! I got the early bird 4 bust deal. FWIW I have some of their earlier figures and they've been very good quality.
  22. This is the resin bust for the upcoming hair and makeup class at ReaperCon. It's a bit under two inches tall. Standard MSP paints for the hair and flowers. The skin tones are the new Bones paints - Ruddy to Pale Flesh. Cross posted to the ReaperCon forum.

  24. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/simonminiatures/the-saga-of-belius-the-black/description Belius versus Angus and Branag Belius the Black is a giant with mysterious origins. We say about him that it is the reincarnation of a god, or even, the guardian of an ancient temple. In short, according to the babarian tribes of the North, it is a black legend related to Bregan Lorelei’s great-grandfather. Bélius is a 70 mm figurine sculpted by me, not counting my hours, in order to obtain the incarnation of the warrior of evil, chaos and destruction. The resin cast will be made by Mr Dès, former melter of Rackham , a pledge of high quality. This project , a range of dark fantasy figurines, is important because I can create from A to Z what i want while satisfying the fans of my work. Indeed, I have been sculpting figurines for more than 20 years : First, for Rackham for 9 years and then for various freelance brands such as Mierce Miniatures, Monolith with Conan, Mythic Battles and Claustrophobia which are successful on Kickstarter. The Kickstarter platform will allow me to finance the moulds for all the figurines, which are all my personal creations. Knowing that the fans of my work will be able to hold them in hand, paint them, or play with them in any kind of games is really a great pleasure for me. This first step is important because i imagine that these figurines are destined for a game in the future. Belius is accompanied by two brothers, Angus and Branag (35mm): They are barbarians from northern tribes. They are elite soldiers ready to do anything to protect their lands and the Elebore Forest from any intrusion in the name of their leader, the demigod Siegfried. NEXT SG to come:3480€ BAAL-Thus, 60mm of brutal force! Shipping informations: The shipping costs are the same for all pledges and for a number of unlimited miniatures. France:7 euros UE:8 euros Rest of the world:10 euros
