    Roberto Vendetta - Halfling Hitman

Presenting Roberto Vendetta, part of the Halfling crime family faction from the (possibly defunct) game Wolsung by Micro Arts Studio. Extremely pleased with how this little guy turned out, I honestly think he's one of my best paint jobs to date. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    Steampunk Dorothy

Presenting Steampunk Dorothy (with Mecha-Toto) from Guild of Harmony Miniatures, she's got a WIP thread here. She's a mini that has thwarted several previous attempts to be painted, so to finally get her finished and do a pretty good job of it (IMO) feels great. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  3. An old foe returns! This is about the sixth time I've tried painting this mini (well not this mini, this is Dorothy 2, original Dorothy was starting to lose a bit of definition having had the paint scrubbed off her so many times), and I'm determined to get her finished finally. So far:- I've got her skin finished, 1:1 Vallejo Flat Flesh/ Vallejo Rosy Skin, Fleshshade Wash, 1:1 Flat Flesh/ Rosy Skin, 1:1:1 Flat Flesh/ Rosy Skin/ Light Flesh. She's practically microscopic compared to all the Games Workshop stuff I've been working on lately, so I'm taking things very slowly.
  4. Jaws

    GW, Hive Prime. Custom.

    Tyranid Hive Prime with headswap:
  5. Jaws

    GW, Tyranid Carnifex

Latest addition to the family. Still waiting for my 60mm bases.:
  6. Finished this guy a while ago. He is from the Gears of War board game, but will be used as a hired gun in our Necromunda campaigns.
  7. Jaws

    Custom Redemptionist #7

Second last ganger, for use in Necromunda, and quite possibly the last to be featured here. :) Noticed some errors when uploading the pics as normal, so I'll need to do some touch ups. The pip-boy thingie needs something nice, too. Anyway, this is made up of some random bits and a Warhammer flagellant. He is wielding a Hot-Shot Lasgun. Will be a lot of fun to use these on the field of battle.

    Yvette, Sniper

A bit rough, both on the paint and the sculpt. First time using scenic grass... it's interesting. Herringbone twill and heterochromic hazel eyes were both fun to paint; new things you can do at large scales. Comments and crit appreciated!

    03338: Young Ice Dragon (modded)

Another one of my not doing much with them dragons. He also has a laser rifle. His color is inspired by a dragon I got in my first exchange here on the forums. The person took my love of dragons seriously and sent me one of this guy with a very similar paint job (but no rifle). I did use a wash on him as the base coat did not go between all those scales.
  10. Again. Not doing anything super spiffy. Another member of my army. Likely will be in a group shot at the end. I did him as a black and purple with a rifle. The blue is more his choice to make him look fiercer as he has scars around both wings.

    80016 Nick Stone

So finally getting my lazy butt to break out the photo booth..1/5 for the July Challenge. I still find DMM my bane (Should really look into shaded metallics) and this figure is completely, not-at-all spun off of Iron Patriot for the July Theme.
  12. Also done over the Memorial Day weekend, I discovered one simple thing: Black armor is hard. Styled after the elite Nova Troopers from Star Wars whose armor Is black with gold accents. It's more grey-ish because he's in bright sunlight. That's my story and I'm sticking to it

    Novelty Fantasy Vignette...Moonshine

VIGNETTE TITLE...MOONSHINE (NOVELTY VIGNETTE)... NOTE...I have had this cute Reaper female wearing daisy duke shorts for a long time, but never really got any ideas about how to use her in a vignette. The other day I saw an art sketch by an artist named Dodion and the idea for my vignette " sang " to me. I finally had the right concept setting for my daisy duke girl. This is the making of my (MOONSHINE) vignette. PHOTO 1. Parts from my giant parts box to make the moonshine still. PHOTO 2. REAPER (Bobby Jo, Redneck Princess # 50200)...my daisy duke honey. PHOTO 3. Rattlesnake made from plastic sprue. PHOTO 4. Rattlesnake painted as a yellow phase timber rattler...crawling through the forest floor debris. PHOTO 5 & 6. Moonshine still assembled and placed. PHOTO 7 & 8. My daisy duke honey painted (front & back view). PHOTO 9 - 12. Views of the finished vignette. This of course goes into my private vignette collection. I had a great time building this little piece...hope that you like the end results.
