  1. Hello All, Here are photos of a 44009 Bones Black "Daschelle, Female Rogue" I completed yesterday. Thank you for looking.
  2. My latest, Fun little Tengu done more ranger-ish than rogue. Let me know what you think
  3. Hello All, Here are photos of a "Gnome Rogue/Thief Adventurer" I completed recently from the Bones USA 30063 Deep Gnome Warriors set. Thank you for looking
  4. Hello All, Here are photos of 44145 Reaper Bones "Dragonfolk Thief" I completed a few weeks back. Thank you for looking.
  5. Hi all: I was happy with her main blade, a little less happy with her hair... Oh well. I thought translucent black would be a fun challenge, and it was certainly a challenge! Comments and criticism are welcomed! Thanks for looking!
  6. I'm having trouble tracking down the number on her. I think she was a preview figure handed out at RC 2022? Painted her for RCL in April. She's a great figure for practicing both OSL and leather!
  7. A 3D printed figure i finished up yesterday. It's a freebie that got thrown in an order image because she was damaged and some of the detail on her is a little soft (particularly her face). The pouch on her right thigh is sculpted from green stuff to cover up a broken crossbow hanging off her belt. She may not be perfect, but I enjoyed working on her.
  8. Hello All, Here are photos of a Dark Heaven Bones 77224 "Rogan, Half Orc Thief/Rogue" I completed a few days ago. His victim already gave up his coin pouch. What else does Rogan want? Thank you for looking.
  9. Hello All, Here is a 02796 Dark Heaven Legends "Ilsa Darkstep, Thief" I completed a few weeks ago. Thank you for looking.
  10. Hello All, Here is a 77118 Reaper Dark Heaven Bones "Tiviel, Hellborn Rogue" I completed recently. I did add the ponytail to this miniature. The ponytail is from a Chaos Space Marine helmet. Thank you for looking.
  11. One of many figures I painted this year, but haven't posted in show-off. I picked this up at Reapercon. She's surprisingly light on details, compared to many Reaper figures.
  12. ReaperCon 2022 vendor named Kawna Miniatures had some great sculpts and I picked this one up to paint as an Xmas gift. She’s based on a Dungeons & Lasers base as I’m a huge fan of that company too.
  13. She's officially called the "Proprietress Wizard," but I get more of a rogue/thief vibe from her. I like the model, overall, but I wish her head wasn't so tiny.
  14. My wife thinks that she looks like a sketchy little character...I'm inclined to agree. I went for a frosted mug effect with her drink...I think it came out okay.
  15. I see this guy as a sleazy, unsavory type who somehow manages to get himself invited to all the nicest social events (whereupon he spends the evening quietly picking people's pockets clean). Not sure if it's visible, but I went for some subtle striping in the fur.
  16. Thrill as the devious spy demonstrates his expertise at camouflage. Just try and spot him...and don't pay any attention to that bush that's walking away. Another whimsical one from Wildspire.
  17. The original model had a weird sash kind of thing across his chest. I didn't care for that, so I did some minor modifications and ended up with some light leather armor on the torso. I actually ended up using him as a half-elf rogue character in a campaign a few months back (after his adventure, he decided to retire from the life and become a farmer).
  18. Love me a good Bobby Jackson sculpt and here's two that I finally got around to painting. Darkest Dungeon was the inspiration, and I don't have too many models painted up in green so they were a nice learning experience. I even tried mixing in some green into the NMM which I've never done before and I was ecstatic with how it turned out!
  19. I’m away from home (again) with my travel paint kit. I was experimenting a couple of months back with a Zorn palette of 4 paints. A rogue seemed like the sort of person who might want to be somewhat subdued in color, so I decided that this Ral Partha rogue from The Adventurers range (set 98-013 Female Adventurers) would be a good figure to paint with the Zorn colors to stay in practice. It wouldn’t hurt to actually read/watch some theory on NMM, but there’s not too much metal on her besides the dagger, so it should pass on the tabletop. She is part of an effort to ensure a reasonable selection of PCs for my planned OD&D ampaign revival.
  20. Black jack painted up as a spellcasting rogue, hence the osl effect on the outstretched hand. Painted 90% with oils. Much easier to learn with them when it is essentially monochrome and you can just focus on light and shadow. .
  21. Hello to all the Reaper ladies and gents out there! So I've finally gotten around to painting my first Bones USA miniature, Fillyjonk the Hellborn Rogue, and I must say it was quite a pleasurable experience. Lots of good detail, eyes and nose were very discernible, life was pretty good. The only issues I had were with getting rid of the mold lines, plastic flash reacts quite a bit different than metal flash and as I tried to get rid of the plastic flash, it would not completely separate itself from the mini, but kind of left a little string of plastic. But that's not such a big deal I guess ultimately. So here she is, first Hellborn figure I've painted as well, so a double debut of all things Reaper: Oops, think the closeup was a little large, but I'm too lazy to go shrink it down. Anyhoos, hope you all enjoy! I'm definitely a supporter of this Bones USA material, it was very nice! I wonder how much the oncoming Bones VI is going to be Bones Black, I'm hoping for most or all of it. I've done some Bones Black figures and the detail was decent, but this is quite a lot sharper.
  22. Here's one of my favorite models 03404, Gris Knotslip sculpted by Jason Wiebe, such a storytelling character.
  23. Merisiel, Iconic Rogue. The original artwork is very good but this is one of the early Bones models that did not translate well to the medium. She flops over, the weapons did not come out well, and much of her detail is guesswork. I even had to sculpt her a nose because she didn't come with one. I tried to follow the artwork more or less, but it wasn't worth the effort to spend too much time on her.
  24. Aline The Bold from Artisan Guild 3D printed on my Elegoo Mars. WIP https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/92913-aline-the-bold-rogue-by-glitterwolf/&tab=comments#comment-1968546 Not happy with this one, the primer made her gritty, it took me a long time to finally finish her. Oh well, another mini done, not my best stuff but her she is anyway.
  25. Printed this out a while ago and made a base for her with the Greenstuffworld Cobblestone Roller and a twig. The primer came out a bit chalky will try to remedy that. But for now I've basecoated her boots. Leather can be a bit rough so it's alright.
