  1. Here's Darkspace Hasami, which I finished today. She's a character from Soda Pop Miniature's Relic Knights game. This is the cosplay version of Hasami who works for an alternate faction, in this case, the Noh Empire. The costume is based off Ryuko Matoi's battle outfit from Kill la Kill (a very weird anime). The connection is that regular Hasami (hasami means "scissors" in Japanese) uses a giant pair of scissors, and Ryuko uses a "scissor blade," which is half of a giant pair of scissors (a scissor?). I had to watch a few episodes to learn that and figure out what was even going on with her outfit. The miniature is in the new resin material, which I think is produced by Prodos Games. It's definitely superior to the PVC they were using before, but is not without its faults. I painted the majority of the miniature at ReaperCon 2016, using the limited edition MSP Ghostly Moss. Other dominant colors are P3 Coal Black, MSP Clear Magenta, VGC Purple Ink and MSP Olive Skin Triad. A special shout-out to Adrift, who suggested the MSP Clear Magenta (he described it as Victoria's Secret Pink) for her panties which looked so great I used it in a bunch of other spots as well. I had a fun time getting a nice smooth blend on the scissors, but am not usually interested in spending that much time on minis.
