  1. I finally got inspiration to do the Bones4 Flail Snail (trasher snail sku 44116). 1st pic is my inspiration on the body. The shell I had no solid plan for, I just went with it. Turned to a wetblend of many different bright colors. I love it, so excited about it! Inspiration pic: I'd love to hear your thoughts on it :)
  2. Presenting Slimux (A Demon Gardener) and Mulch (His loyal Plough Snail), characters from the Nurgle Demon faction for the Warhammer games by Games Workshop. Glad to get this one finished at last, it's been sitting at around 80% done for about a year. I'm really happy with how Mulch turned out, less so with Slimux, I think I just used too many similar colours on him (and yellow eyes wasn't a great idea either). As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  3. For my birthday, I received a mini I'd had my eye on for a while, Slimux and Mulch! Slimux:- He's a gardener, a demon gardener. And Mulch:- Is his loyal plough-snail. Started on Mulch today:- His shell was based with Hexed Lichen, then had drybrushes of 1:1 Hexed Lichen/Warlord Purple > Warlord Purple > 1:1 Warlord Purple/Squid Pink > Squid Pink, and then I painted Pure Black into the cracks and deep recesses. Finally I glazed over the whole thing with some thinned Blue Ink. As usual I used too much Glaze Medium, so I'm going to work on Slimux while it dries, if it dries.
  4. Howdy, Quite large for a snail... A wise old snail, Kev!
  5. I picked up this little snail at a convention booth last year or so and had a lot of fun painting her. She is seen here peeking through the weeds. :-) The original mini was just the snail on kind of a rock thing (now embedded in the base). Update: had a chance to get some pictures of the shell as requested. :-)
  6. one of my favorite Christmas presents this year was a whole bunch of Dark Sword Miniatures Anthropomorphic heroes and heroines. One of my personal favorites being the snail cartographer. This cute little guy has a lot going for him and carries all sorts of things, including a compass a bottle of goo and lots of other goodies and that is just what is outside of his shell. I could probably have done better with the join between the head and body, but its a little late now and someone else sent me another one so I have a second chance as well. Enjoy! this was a fun little mini to paint
