  1. Howdy, I thought troglodyte meant cave dweller... Kev!
  2. Hi there all, so with the Ral Partha Chaos Wars Kickstarter in high gear, ten more days left, I've been painting some more of their figures, and I just finished this Greater troglodyte. I really like these figures as they seem so lizardlike in their poses, much more than a person with a lizard head and tail. Working on a few more with the same color scheme, but this is the first one I got done as he didn't have any armor, just his naked trog body and a sword. I also like their size scaled against other Partha figures. If I saw a troop of these rushing down upon me, I'd probably start running the other way. Hope you enjoy!
  3. Another mini from the long-held stash (don't know the sculptor, unfortunately): Wrong color green for a troglodyte, I suppose. Anyway, I finally got some washes (from Reaper), so I tried washing this guy wth the brown. I can't tell if it worked or not. I did a little bit of lining after it. And highlighting. I'm not sure what the wash accomplished. Meh. I'm pleased with how it came out, all in all, though I'm sure there are lessons to be learned, here. Please, tell me what they are.
