I'm going to be building a bunch of cavalry to use as Dothraki from Game of Thones, and I was wondering if anyone knew a source for their customary hand scythe/sickle weapon? Rather than bend a bunch of straight words into curves, it would be a lot better if i could just find them sold as bits. Did any plastic Warhammer figures ever come armed with such a weapon?
So.... have you ever started something you thought looked cool as hell... then way into it you just go "$&@% balls!!!"? Kinda what i'm feelin for this piece. Its my third and for a d&d campaign. its basically supposed to be a dark elf sorcerrer but since my elf wizard mini I had on hand at the time was ... well defective on arrival. I figured it was close enough and i'd swap him in (hence my attempt at a fire sword to give any indication of the fire heavy wizard i actually am playing). I primed in dark grey which is what i had at the time. (wish i'd waited for black for this color sche
Long time, no see. This fellow has been done for a while, but had no base. Also made up from flagellants and techno priests. The flamer, and backpack are probably taken from some chaos marine. The fire 'bit' is straw from an ear-pin.: "Speak no evil. (And burn the heretics, of course!)"
This fellow has been pieced together by random bits in the bits pile. Body is a techno priest from Warhammer 40k. Head is from the flagellant pack for Warhammer Fantasy. I believe the weapon is from a Chaos Marine. Cloak, I don't know. Lizard men regiment maybe? Skull pile is from Gorgotha, Warzone accessories.
