So just recently discovered different miniature videos on You Tube and such and one I was watching today made me kind of think how I pronounce the word "miniature". I flat out just pronounce it probably eighty percent of the time as "min-uh-chur" and the other twenty percent of the time I'll do "min-yuh-chur", but the video I was watching today the guy was saying "min-ee-uh-chur" emphasizing that second "I" while I usually either ignore it all together or pronounce if very slightly and really not as it's own syllable but more as something that softens the vowel in the second syllable.
