Hard to say.  Sunrise has some negatives since anymore it usually is seen if I've stayed up too late.  But I've also worked third shift, so it used to mean I could go home.

Sunset has positive memories of wandering around Reykjavik between 9pm-1am at the end of July where the light was like the sun had just set.  The first night I wandered alone.  Next evening three more people had checked into the little basement hostel and I showed them around while we looked for any restaurant that was still open.  I'd shared my bunch of grapes with the new girl when she got in starving, she paid me back by springing for a meal when we finally found a chippery open. Next day we all left, and I showed everyone the way I had walked from the airport shuttle since I was mostly broke after 7 weeks in Europe and hadn't been able to afford a taxi.  The walk back was a lovely, clear 70°.  My walk from had been 40° in the sleet.

Quizzle for 5 October 2022:

Which do you like better, Sunrise or Sunset?

If I'm seeing a sunrise it means I have a long day ahead of me. Well except in the winter. Sunset usually means it's time to relax.

I would so try them on a dare/But I cannot find them anywhere!

I'm generally an evening girl, so sunsets. But if I lived in the North, it would be sunrise. They have a big festival in many northern communitites to honour the first sunrise of the year, at like 2 in the afternoon. That would be pretty neat to attend. If I could one day, I'd bring fireworks. I wonder how many Inuit have seen them live?

I'm not sure I've ever had green tomatoes in any way.  Love nice ripe red tomatoes fresh off the vine though...

Something very soothing about watching the sun creep up over the horizon and the mild anticipation you feel with either.  The colors you often get at the end of the day would make me lean every so slightly to sunset.   With either, add a nice body of water in front to really add to the spectacle, and you can't go wrong.

I do not generally care for sunrises as it generally means one of two things: I'm about to be blinded on my way into work (the sun shines directly into my path four times a year for a couple weeks each), or I've stayed up wa-ay too late.

Sunsets are "ok" although I generally don't observe them.

Sunrise means, I'm close to clocking out from work, but I like the evening more & I've always have liked Sunsets more.

I am a sunrise Guy. When I worked graveyard shift, I would time my cigarette break to allow me to be outside when the sun rose, It is a wonderfully peaceful time of the day.

That said, I do love subsets just not quite as dearly.

Howdy, Quizzle for 6 October 2022: Have you ever ridden in or driven a Dune Buggy?

I have not. The only traversable  dunes are in the southwest corner in the province, there are also dunes in the far, far northwest corners, but that are in a national park and are specifically protected (there are plants there that grow nowhere else on Earth).
