Ok...deep cut, here. He totally reminds me of the blue styracosaurus co-host from the 80's Will Vinton claymation Christmas special. I'm sure that's totally what you were going for. 🙂

 

But, yeah, this is flat-out amazing. Lovely scale work complemented perfectly by the yellow clothing. Nice job on the leather bits, too. I'm also impressed by the lute, especially the blending on the back.
