Popular Post R2ED
Just a set of Halloween fun. Gotta keep going with Spooktober! Vlad "Pull my finger" the Flatulator...less well known, but just as deviant as his cousin the impaler. Adrift
I love the jewel tone theme you went with on Vivian, going so far as to work it into the skin tone. I’m def going to be stealing that. 3

R2ED
@Adrift i got the Fantasy 2 color set from Scale 75 and wow, let me just say they're amazing. Blending and smoothness are exactly what those paints are for. I must add the downside to them is, on the palette they wet out if out longer than 4 hours, so be aware to be sparce with how much you put down or work fast. HIGHLY recommend them. @Glitterwolfit's high regard to get the coveted space wolf of excellence aka MOE (mark of excellence). Thanks, buddy! Grand Slam
I really like the classic color scheme you used on Vlad (especially the nice shading on the cape's liner). Tessa is excellent, too. I'm also in the middle of a mini with a primarily blue color scheme, so I was really drawn to the way you've created minor variations throughout to keep her basically monochromatic, but still interesting. Amazing hair, too. Vivian - wow...that skin is amazing. Such cool color choices and excellent blending. I love the work on her cape, too. 1
R2ED
@Grand Slamthank you, sir! On Vlad's cape it is 3 colors: black green for shade, scarlet for red, then flat red to bring up highlights (as much as that red can be). Back of his cloak i wanted to be something besides black, so i mixed in nightmare black with black to give it a blue hue. I was trying to stick to like 4 colors for the ladies. I was adding black to their main tone, then varying it with cream, pale sand, or lighter blue. Her hair is msp paints : red shadow up to viceroy red to phoenix red. Phoenix red happens to be one of my all time favs. If you don't have it - GO GET IT. Vivian had pleasant skin, but then i went a little nuts on the red lips and blood on the chin. Now she looks like she's pursed too much. Whoops.

kazmania7
I luv the color scheme on the Halloween witch, but the the color scheme on the female Vamp.... .... Awesome ! Been wanting to do the vamp for a long time but the colors just won't call out to me to use on her, but the colors you've chosen, impressive. 1

Iridil
Inspiring! May favorite bits are the eyes/glow on Vlad, Tessa's skin and hair and how it works with her dress, and Viviane's skin
R2ED
@Iridili finally used contrast paints! The eyes on vlad are Imperial Fist Yellow over white in the surrounding area of the eye. Worked great!
