Got another one of these polished off.  I really like these vampire models from GW. I'm also very happy that Spooktober is forcing me to paint more.

I agree ..interesting color scheme. Excellent highlighting on the skin and armor. I like the work you did on the yellow jewels, too. One suggestion I would offer is to consider adding that same yellow in the pupils. It would set the eyes off nicely and tie things together even more in terms of color. Just a thought.

@Grand Slamalready with ya on that one, GS.  I did use the yellow in the pupils, but it's so little of a dab you really can't tell much. I also didn't want to go in there again and make it worse, so it's going to have to stay as it is. I thought about the glowing eyes thing I've been doing lately, but decided not to.

Lol...the camera always gets to have it's say with last-minute adjustments to the real life colors, doesn't it?

 

Also, it just hit me who he reminds me of with that color scheme - very reminiscent of Lord Dactus from the early-2000's era Masters of the Universe reboot.
