@Auberonnope. Was that a well known KS they did?

Infinity is a popular Sci-fi skirmish game known for it's detailed but frustratingly difficult to assemble metal minis (Although I think they've started using Siocast for some stuff, like this game). I know they've done some Kickstarters in the past, but no idea how well they were run.

Had my eye on this since they seem to be returning to their "Anime inspired" roots that Infinity seems to have drifted away from, plus fantasy is just more of my thing, but I've got no interest in a big box dungeon crawler, going to wait for that skirmish game they mention.

It's on its fourth edition, they've been around for almost twenty years.  They are also the creative minds behind Aristeia!  They also regularly put out new models every month, although the quantity varies (usually it's in the 6-8 per month range, and they rotate which factions get the minis).

The main Kickstarter that's recent from them would be the scifi dungeon crawler Infinity:Defiance, which added a bunch of lore to the overall setting as well.

Correct: they have started with the new TAGs and some remotes, and are working on adding more in SioCast.  Community is mixed about it, mainly because there are a ton of people loyal to the metal minis.  Myself, I don't care either way provided they're of the same standard of quality sculpts, but at the same time, if the Maghariba Guard were available in something that didn't weight in at 343g each (and were say 50-100g) I know I'd have a second one in my gaming bag.

Company is Corvus Belli.  Infinity, Aristeia, Defiance.  Defiance was kickstarted.  The deliver on that KS was slow and communications could have been better.  I didn't back, but my FLGS did and I got some from there.

Warcrow will be using Siocast.  I played a demo of Warcrow and had gone to Corvus Belli's seminar at GenCon this year.  I got a couple of the minis for that.  Gave one away, and I've got the one I kept in primer now.  Assembly isn't so bad.  Joints are a bit better than many joints you see in Infinity minis, but nothing to brag about - there's a little more gap than I'd like.  The mini I have needed a little bit of flash trimming.  Otherwise ok.  Scale is a little bit bigger than contemporary reaper minis - maybe 1-2mm taller.

Game play was fun.  Coop dungeon crawl adventure facilitated by an app.  Mechanics are smoother than Defiance.  Initiative is novel.  Your character basically acts ever so many "ticks" based on their stats.  One character may act every 3 ticks; another every 4.  I enjoyed it.

Backed at the basic level hoping I don't regret it because of shipping.  Shipping isn't cheap but it's a pretty sizable box.

The siocast is ok.  I usually prefer metal, but I'm really happy with my siocast marut.  That model weighed too much in metal.
