cancelled FORGED: Adventure Series I

Hi guys,

Physical & digital campaign with sculpts from Broken Anvil Miniatures. 10% off for the next 48hrs on Early Bird.
I have just noticed on re-read of rues that Backerkit crowdfunding is actually allowed. I would have posted it yesterday otherwise.

I would say it is currently aimed at ones beginning at the hobby, but there are some nice & atypical sculpts there. Possibly more in the stretch goals.

I'm backing physical, but if they dont' at least double the value with stretch goals, i'll probably cancel at the end. 

FYI, They did say during the first campaign live stream that these will be PVC. They also said during the new campaign live kickoff live stream that most/all of the core set items will be broken out into addons. So maybe i just grab some monster squads peice-meal.

They'll probably fund within a week, but streatchgoals are really what's going to make it.

For me compared to the previous version it is a better deal. I would rather have smaller amount of plastic that is more usable. Two copies of 3 different sculpts, work for me a lot better than 6 identical sculpts. I do agree that the stretch goals would definitely sweeten the deal. However, I do appreciate amount of thinking and work that they have done within last week to make it work. So I'm in for sure. 

Hopefully word of mouth will get the campaign moving and we will all see those stretch goals unlocked.

I’m watching this one. I have no knowledge of Broken Anvil, so I’m a little hesitant. Blacklist has scared me off of unknown companies.

Honestly the first thing I thought of when I saw these was Blacklist, I think just the style and presentation.

I get you guys. I am in on Fantasy 2 with Blacklist. So I was a bit hesitant as well. I have done some digging prior to supporting the campaign. 

As far as I know, Broken Anvil has been around for some time. Mostly working with 3d sculpting, stl files and resin prints. They have a sizeable Patreon following and have built quite a library of stl files going back to March 2021.
The previous crowdfunding campaign (resin) from 2021 seems to deliver / have delivered.
They do have another campaign that has been funded earlier this year on KS. This one seems to be produced in Siocast in the US. That one is slated for delivery in June 2023.
Forged campaign seems to be their first attempt at pvc miniatures manufacturing.

So there are some green and some red flags. Probably August 2023 delivery is a bit optimistic, with the state of the world and such,

This one's not getting enough love!  BAM had a great style, successful crowd funding past, and a real store that has been operating for years producing physical minis and stls.  I think it's worth a back!

They have halted their Patreon currently though. I hope this goes well for them because they already cancelled it once due to low funding levels and it seems like they’ve got a lot of their eggs in this basket.

Somehow I have misread that as putting Forged campaign on hold. 

Yeah, I guess two crowdfunding campaigns and Patreon might be a bit tricky. Hopefully, that is the reasonable thing to do for some time, until the excitement and extra work for this campaign are over.

I'm also in on this KS. Even if we won't get that many stretch goals, the value is still decent, and the sculpts pretty cool! 😄

Would love to see it move faster, though!

Same! Which in and of itself isn't a bad thing, as that format is a good idea. But I do think the Blacklist similarity might be hurting the campaign at least a bit. People understandably don't want a rerun of the FS1 debacle, so that's probably stopping some people from backing, even if it's a completely different company.
