Well, King Games is back with their fourth Dunkeldorf KS, named "The Streets of Dunkeldorf"! And they've already crushed the base goal, as well as the initial two stretch goals! Currently at 97,500 DKK/$13,200 USD of 12,000 DKK/$1600 USD. 😄

There are three pledges:

  • "Copper Coin" ($7) gives you a single miniature and access to the pledge manager.
  • "Silver Coin" ($41) gives you all eight base minis, art print, and all "Silver Stretch Goals"(which I interpret as probably half the stretch goals).
  • "Gold Coin" ($67) gives you everything in the "Silver Coin" pledge, plus the Road Signs(3x) and Street Lanterns(3x) sets, as well as the Notice Board. And of course, all "Gold Stretch Goals".
  • Both "Silver Coin" and "Gold Coin" have "Early Bird" versions for the first day, which gives you a set of three mutant birds(one for each stage, turning from normal to mutated, two headed bird).

Pledged!

I backed some of their earlier projects and have been very satisfied with the quality and variety of the minis. Great designs for urban NPCs. And the overall costs (including shipping) are very decent.

From their messages, they'll be doing smaller campaigns from now on. But I did not expect it to be only 7 days.

Aw neat.  I’m in this time, regretted not jumping on board last time and this round of minis is even more up my alley.  Like, shady scarred florist?  That’s a unique offering.

This campaign's doing great: There's still more than 10 hours left of day 1, and it's the best day 1 of any Dunkeldorf KS thus far in terms of $$$. 😄

Looking forward to seeing what stretch goals are revealed tomorrow!

Christine Van Patten is also doing a couple of minis in this KS, which is pretty awesome. She sculpted a lot of my favourite stuff in Bones 5. 😄

Specifically she's done the toymaker, which I absolutely adore, and apparently another stretch goal mini.

My goodness, I totally missed that bit.

It's awesome to see how her work is being recognized more and more.

I agree! Her work is absolutely phenomenal! 😄

She will apparently be working with them in the future as well! So that's something to look forward to!

I really wish they would offer these in plastic as well as metal - I would buy SO MANY of these in plastic!

Of course maybe it’s best for my wallet that they don’t offer a plastic option …

I think they've mentioned SioCast just isn't very available where they produce the physical minis.

Did you already pick up the Archon plastic townsfolk back in Dungeons and Lasers 3? They may be small for dioramas. Now available retail.

Dunkeldorf has far more character than any village or other miniatures I've seen. I'm way behind on my Reaper, Tiny Furniture, and Archon village mini's though. 😕
