Decided not to back

 I'm in only for add-ons and the retail price difference fits in the minimum 10$ add-ons pledge. I've got a mountain to paint, and even if these fill gaps, I don't have a NEED.

Also had to replace (windows 7) computer and will have to replace some peripherals that will only work on generic drivers. Things I used ALL the time.

Some decent minis in this set. Not a fan of every style shown herein, but several of them are fantastic. Glad I backed it.

Yep, that sums up my thoughts nicely.

 

BAM definitely have a whimsical style that doesn’t always match my preferences, but enough of them did in this campaign to make backing the STL set worthwhile for me.

I'm happy with this campaign. I wish it could have gone a lot further but i think people are burned out on new less proven mini collections, and their existing fan base (their patreon supporters) already have all the stls and are 3d printing aficionados that don't need physical product

 

The wyverns and raptors are my favorite. I'm not a fan of the lupine esque gnolls but I really like their orc asthetic. So some pros and cons. They hit my less than 1$ per mini personal rule around 160k.

A bit disappointed with the after Kickstarter follow up from Broken Anvil Miniatures on this.

 

The BackerKit is out now and there are lots of questions in the Kickstarter comments section with no response from Broken Anvil. I want to add a few of the add-ons to my BackerKit order as STLs. The FAQ said we would be able to, but you can’t do it in BackerKit currently, but I can’t get an answer from BAM about it.

In theory the pledge manager might be closing within the next few hours. 
 

Broken Anvil’s radio silence the last two months has not inspired a lot of confidence. It might even beat Reaper for lack of kickstarter communication.

Broken Anvil really are leaving money on the table with this. How hard can it be to add STL options on BackerKit?

 

People want to buy them, but can’t because they’re not an option, despite promising during the Kickstarter campaign and the last update (a month ago) that they would be.

 

Really disappointed by how badly this campaign has been handled from a communication perspective.
