It was for the most part a dry December & some of Jan, but as soon as the atmo-river hit Cali, it's been wet here. The last few days even the white crap has fell on us. Not enough to bring out the snowshoes, but it's out there, again.

Hell, right around the beginning of the month it almost hit 60...

Pegazus
My lil' star project is driving me a little crazy. I now have whittled down the number of stars I am using to a mere 15k. Sol isn't visible from more than 71 light years. Nothing that isn't visible even if it was that much closer was eliminated. Tried out what our sun would look like from Proxima Centauri and realized I am not that fluent in the constellations. I now need to make a cheat sheet for myself which means I need to separately identify the stars making up each and color them differently. More work that I am not interested in doing. But I want to make my cool pictures.

That’s got “Simpsons did it” vibes. But, I am going to press forward. I know what I have so can trust the results. And since I have a semi-commercial purpose using my own data is probably best. Though about soliciting some mythology from forum members but that could get complicated as well.

Pegazus
Played Minecraft this afternoon for probably the first time in a couple of months. Managed to finish a small project I've been working on. For nine years. Dug a hole that was stairstepped all the way from ground level to (what was then) bedrock level and then lined with stairs. Quite the adventure.

It's funny, I follow a couple of rabbit "celebs" on BookeyFace & they need meds sometimes. The owner barely has the syringe near their mouths & they are gulping down them like it was candy for a human child! WT#!!! When we needed to give Thumper her meds, we had to chase her around the living room, finally grab her in a blanket aka "burrito mode" & then we had to add whatever was sweet to the meds. Also this bunny didn't take that syringe either, kinda had to stick where it could deliver the stuff. I look back at that now, & I'd do it all over again. There are days I really miss having her around. 🐇
