Moderator Chaoswolf Posted January 24 Author Moderator Share Posted January 24 We have to do self assessments at works this week. They're similar to what I had to in the Navy, which made me think of this: 2
Glitterwolf
I stumbled across Artstation/colorminis site. They use a digital tool to "paint" minis. While very cartoony it does help to look at a mini and see what certain things are supposed to be or inspire what colours to use on a model. So another tool for reference I think. 4

So we had to take a employee-companywide annual survey thingee at work. Pretty much my co-worker & I & a guy in the meat department are the last holdouts. Overall the survey is suppose to be anonymous (but if it, why do we have to log into our personal accounts to take said test??? ) & tbh I wasn't going to take it until at least tomorrow morning (gotta get my co-worker's done & he's as illiterate to a computer as a Amish is to a lightbulb.....) but I did it anyways. I had to print off some things for the taxes anyways. So at the end of the survey there is a comment box. I had a whole spew typed up but it was way to specific & named names & such, I just went back & deleted & typed that I felt like some employees in the store get favored more then other & it hurts the ones that actually do things the right way. Really all the survey does is let the higher then store level, know what's going on in their stores. The receiving clerk's comment box may actually bring corporate to the store to ask about some things that isn't getting done, like SAFETY ISSUES.....Good for him.

I've seen where people will take say the pics off the Reaper store & then upload those to a coloring program & do the same thing. Like you said, anther tool for the hobby. 15 hours ago, Chaoswolf said: Related: Oddly that is a real picture. A BookeyFace group I'm in had a meme saying this was eastern OR & tbh, the overpass kinda looks like the one on the western side of town on the interstate but there was allot of people saying no this is a place in Montana (I think), 13 hours ago, Mad Jack said: Did you know that not a single one of the United States of America has pizza as its official state food? There's currently a bill being proposed in Connecticut to make pizza the official state food. It didn't pass the last time they tried two years ago, but there's a good shot that it'll make it through this time. So is there any advantage to having it as a "official" food? I mean hell official or not, it's going into my belly!! 🍕

When I first started reading this post I saw that out of the corner of my eye and read it as "SAFETY JESUS"... If Safety Jesus is showing up at your store, things have gotten bad... 3 hours ago, haldir said: So is there any advantage to having it as a "official" food? Dunno if you've ever been to CT, but there's a pretty serious pizza scene down in New Haven. * Currently, our license plates say The Constitution State, or, as we mockingly refer to it, The Construction State Edited January 24 by Mad Jack 3

Colonel Kane
Hey all, long time no chew the fat. I hope everyone is doing the best they can. Life has been throwing poo at me for a while. While I am mostly covered in it, I am still treading on, kinda have to. I have quite a lot on my plate, but looking to put even more. I just put feelers out for another PbP, this will make three, if it happens. Work has settled down, so I do think three will be doable for me. Anyways it has been another year, same old stuff.

" Took a bit to figure out Play by Post. For PbP the first thought was lead and potassium, until the 20 year old Chem classes kicked in and I remembered potassium was K. Which led to racking my brain until phosphorus popped up, and, doubting myself, checking Google. Lead phosphorus would be PbP. Not that that's actually a thing. There might be some sort of lead phosphate I suppose. 4
