If they had a maze like this I'd never find her....

Pegazus
My task list so far today at work is to write an email. Singular. And to wait for any emergency issues to arise. Which has now popped up. So the email will wait. Gotta have something in the afternoon to do, right? 7 2

There’s a product group that doesn’t have anybody trained and certified to approve engineering dispositions. So, problem comes up, they devise a solution, and then I review and approve. Usually, they are urgent because work cannot continue until approval is given. This time was a problem because an electrical grounding check between some parts was more than what was allowed. But it wasn’t that far off so they can just run with it. Now on to writing that email.
Colonel Kane
I hope everyone is doing the best they can. I know things are difficult and they could be better and they could be worse. I stayed in bed till almost noon today. Just did not want to get out of bed. Just getting My Player's Handbook for Castles and Crusades finished printed out. Now to finish reading it then to print out the Castle Keepers Guide. I have already found something I want to change for my game. I want to change the Barbarian class to either Nomad or Tribesman class. A very minor change, but just something I think I would like to do. Well I hope your day gets better, even if it has been good already.

I'm starting with a single, so this will only be a small part of the base. Eventually, I plan to have a minimum of 4 corners and 2 singles so I can have a "home layout", but hoping I stay motivated long enough to get a couple doubles done as well. I'm also hoping that using the T-Trak modules helps me finish things, simply because it's a layout in "small bites." For the base itself, I've currently got ideas for 3 modules that will link together, one of which will have to be a corner module. But I could see it spreading across a dozen modules if I ever got the time, money and motivation. I also want to do a couple of modules that are city based, but also futuristic. The only N-scale train I have is this KATO commuter tram: There is a red version I want to get as well

kristof65
Grrr..... So yesterday, I got assigned a call for a Canadian customer because, once again, the techs in Canada were overly busy. I tried to go through troubleshooting with this guy, but everything I suggested he said he had already tried or insisted that wasn't it. It got to the point where I only had one suggestion left to determine if it was the printer assembly or the circuit board, but he didn't want to try that. I got frustrated and said "Well, I don't know what to tell you then. If you were a US customer I could have you send the parts to me to diagnose, but I can't do that for Canadians" He latched onto that as the next step, and I tried to explain that a) I work from home in the US, b) I'm not going to send parts back and forth across the border, and c) I can't commit the already overly busy Canadian techs to doing that. He got all pissy with me about it, and then refused to talk to me anymore, wanting to talk to a Canadian tech. Now he's emailing all mad that he can't get ahold of a Canadian tech and claiming I refused to ship him parts/help him with his problem and won't respond to my email responses. I told the Service Manager that I have no idea what part he needs because he didn't want to actually troubleshoot anything. but if he wants, I'll happily ship all new parts, which would turn what is probably no more than a $600 repair into several thousand.
