The only additional info I have from the IMDB page is the name of the actor who is playing the county sheriff. Robert someone... Well, he's from Interpol and tracking the killers of a member of a royal family. In Iowa. And this gets released on 01 Dec 2021......wait, something seems off.
haldir
My FLGS group finally finished up the holiday "sidetrek" for their main characters last night. They did pretty good, tbh. The veteran of the group aka the guy has been playing D&D probably as long as I have made the right call about a apple their patron gave them. I also flubbed something last week, so I gave the player the chance to break out of his madness induced coma (I forgot to give him a save & he was able to make it) but the main encounter had the party end up in Krampus' throne room with the caged kids they were after. One player tried to open the cage but failed his thieves tools roll so bad the cage gave him exhaustion (I'm assuming due to the nature of the cage) but after most of the party was in the room, I had Krampus come up the stairs & into the room. The player not in the room was conversing with a giant horned wolf who seemed to be friendly with him.... Krampus wanted to fight the party but the veteran player I mentioned before, remembered the apple & gave it too him. As this was weakness for him, it put him in a more peaceful mood & also gave the players advantage when dealing with him. They were able to bargain for the kids without fighting. He also gave them passage out of his realm unmolested by his minions. As they only a few squares away from the portal out, they were attacked by a dark elf who wanted revenge for his defeat earlier. As he ran out of the village before, he had healed up a bit & had found a random patrol to wait for the party. My dice were on a roll last night, I kept rolling high numbers or crits on most attacks. The veteran player did get smacked pretty hard as I critted him, but I use crit decks from Nord Games & I pulled a very nasty card, a bleed type damage card. It was a d10 damage each round for 10 rounds (max roll). Also if the player rolled a 10, it was an additional d8 rounds. Vet player was a rogue & he was already hurting due to 3 levels of exhaustion from the environment. He did the smart thing & ran (or he did the best he could) for the portal, the other players did the same with the warlock player (the one I goofed the save for) using a darkness ability to cloak his movement, along with a couple other people. Since the dark elves had a shadow teleport they made their way in front of the portal & it came down to 2 players, the paladin & the warlock. I told them if they make a either athletic or acrobatic checks, they could scoot past them & into the portal. The paladin had gotten to them first & tried but failed (he was suffering 2 levels of exhaustion) & was attacked by them. The warlock had a magic key that opened the main door to Krampus, but it also has a secondary ability of allowing the player to teleport at the expense of Hit Dice, he gave that to the paladin before he made his checks. The warlock was able to get by, so that left the paladin. Luckily for him, he went before the elves & he activated the key. Problem with that was there was a chart when teleporting in the Black Forest. Luckily for him we were running out of time & just allowed him to TP into the portal & escape. He will suffer the HD aka HP lost when we play next week, which for him is a d10 damage. which might drop him to 0, so we shall see. Sadly thou, one player did not make it back, as he felt like using a ranger ability to "Hide in plain sight" instead of trying to help the party fight the Dark elves. As he has to each week, he leave early, so I kinda felt bad about this but as the party ran for the portal, I had the lone horned wolf smell for him, sorta his scent was in the air & the wolf had caught wind of it. He died a lonely death in the Black Forest. I will be sending a text to the guy to make a new character for next week. I didn't want to do that, but I also felt like he gave up on the party before he left + what else was there to do? Now that I've had to chance to look up the ability, it says 1 minute prep, so had I known that I wouldn't have allow him to do it, so I may give him a chance to get out, we shall see. I always enjoy Weds with these guys. It almost feels like back in high school with my original group.
Pegazus
Every time I stand up from my desk, I discharge the static on the cubical wall. When it strong enough, it zaps the laptop which is NOT touching the walls. But it makes the USB disconnect sound when it does. And I giggle every time. I may not be Thor, but I feel like a distant cousin.

It's basically a gallium alloy that is magnetic. They move it with strong magnetic pulls, melt it with inducted current, then it cools back down to reshape - the example with grabbing the body from the stomach makes sense except for the 86 degree melting point. The lego man reforming after it cools seems impossible without a mold, I don't feel like we can get that sharp of a detail with magnetic fields.... I thought that, too. 2 hours ago, kristof65 said: The Canadian I had the issue with the last two days? the one that didn't want to deal with "the American", and tried to throw me under the bus? Rightly so, from the sound of things. 1 hour ago, Pegazus said: Every time I stand up from my desk, I discharge the static on the cubical wall. Mine showed a graphic of the orbital trajectories of Earth Moon and Asteroid that clearly showed the space rock getting its orbit severely bent by Earth’s gravity well but escaping. My source was the every half hour news summary on Red Eye Radio, an overnight broadcast whose primary intended audience is truckers and others who are "up and running" in the overnight hours. PaganMegan
I haven't posted much this week. My trusty Fire, she of the cracked screen, finally died on me. Then, tonight, she started beeping, and is working again. But thought that it was nine in the morning of the day she "died", and time for me to wake up. Backing up everything that I can back up, and treasuring the time we have left together. She has Firefox, which cannot be installed on newer Fires. 1

The guy also told the Service Manager that the printer he's trying to get fixed is completely different from the other one he has in another unit, because this came from a unit he bought a decade before the unit he just bought recently. But the equipment has used the same thermal printer assembly parts for the last 25 years. The only difference is the sheet metal that holds the parts together. 5 hours ago, Brother Jim said: Well, he's from Interpol and tracking the killers of a member of a royal family. In Iowa.
