Again an active Spammer!

Isn't there a way to locate their position and rain death upon them?

Maybe for Reaper, but we mods don't have that power/ability, all we can do is ban the fake accounts they use.

Exactly why it's safer for me and my co-workers for me to work from home over 2000km away from them.

I am so over work this week. TGIF.

I wonder how the saga between that Canadian and the Service Manager will play out today?  No new emails in the service inbox from him so far this morning.

Work today will be filling out a table of a particular assembly’s list of production runs, where these assemblies are currently, and what vehicle they were used on. This is not required by any company process or standard instruction. This is because the engineer responsible for this product (me) deems it to be a helpful tool.

A day of copying and pasting. Luckily my mouse hand is strong and ready for the task.

Ha ha ha!

Customer called in with a problem - credit cards down on whole site.  Wouldn't listen to the junior tech, demanded to speak to engineer because "he always connects in and does something to fix it."  Service Manager logs in for junior tech, notes a few things, hands it back to junior tech. Customer again wants engineer to fix it.

Dispatcher begs me to help.  Guy won't listen to me either, problem compounded because my computer decides to act up, and program won't let me log into ANY sites, not just his.  I have to tell him I'll call him back as soon as I get my own problem sorted out.   Other engineer helps me get my problem sorted out and we start to look at the customers site together (since I had him) and we notice 9/10ths of his network is simply not there.

Call customer back, to do some more troubleshooting - getting frustrated again, but have him send me some photos of the cabinet - where I notice that most of the devices in the cabinet have no power light on - including the network switches for the tellers & bays.  Get him to confirm.

Battery Backup powering the devices in the cabinet failed. Only things still working are the things not plugged into it.

Guy then gets all upset that his site is going to be down until he can get a new one overnighted to him.

"Dude, calm down.  Go to Staples and get a new one."

"I can do that?"

Umm, yeah.

Just don't tell them Staples also delivers, because it's next business day...  And Staples drivers are ohhh so thankful if customers gets the batteries themselves, and I'd suspect loaders are happy about it too 😛

(I have a customer that orders 1500VAh batteries every six months or so always a "fun" time but thankfully it's only like fifty feet)
