Friend played a troll hunter & apparently they have that ability. He was POed cause it never worked for him, ha ha. 3rd guy never called in, nothing. When I saw the big boss this morning I asked her "Did he quit?!" it was pretty much the same response from her as usual. She was more upset that the grocery manager aka my immediate supervisor didn't get ahold of me, mainly to get a established contact with me (he's new but he's been there before, but I don't have his contact info) as I had told her on Weds about the screw ups the closing managers are doing for the grocery dept. Who knows. I do know & was confirmed this morning that the big boss called every available employee the day of the 3rd guy's bday so they she could wish him a happy birthday & give him a large cupcake (prob around 9 to 10 bucks). Yah, is all I'm gonna say about that. All I know if he shows up Sunday morning, he's dead to me. I'm not even going to bother acknowledge that he is even there. The receiving clerk helped us out with the beverage/chips boards (there was around 6 of them & each was big). all in all we had like 20 pallets come in, most of that was Easter prompts, but we got out of there around 930 or so, as I had to help my co-worker do something on the computer & such. I deleted my interest gauge for Castle's & Crusades. I know it has been only 3 days, but meh, I worked on my PF2 Beginner's Box PbP that I am doing on Discord. I really do like PF2, but there is just so much too it that I feel slightly overwhelmed. I am enjoying to Beginner's Box, maybe if I could get a in person group, I might be able to learn it better, but the odds of that are extremely low. Sorta, yah maybe kinda way. The asks is pretty much a "morale-boosting" employee interactive billboard that changes monthly in the breakroom. Little good that does on the account that my co-worker & I only see it when we are getting into lockers & "gearing-up" for the work night. The couple that was coming to tonight's PF2S game started out with the PF2BB & they really enjoyed the PFS game we were playing, but since mid-December they have been a no=show. I know they had kids cause as they put it "we are nerds & when we go out on date night we like playing games..." so who knows why they haven't been showing. Holidays I could see why, but afterwards, big mystery. I'm not even sure I'm gonna show up tonight. I still need to crash from last night & I'm currently not really all that tired. I removed some supports off my overnight 3d printing & then seen the it's 50 degrees outside & sunny, I decide to clean out the wash n cure vat & put in new denatured alchohol so I'll be ready for the next prints. I asked because I had a boss like that once. He would constantly do morale killing things, then try and boost morale with things that made no difference. One time he demoted a supervisor to cashier, but didn't tell her - just let her find out by checking the schedule. Then he was "surprised and disappointed" when she quit on the spot. The reason he demoted her? Other supervisors were telling him that "no one likes her" - because she was enforcing the rules they weren't. My favorite morale boosting attempt was when he bought pizza for everyone - and arrived back at work with cold pizza just after the last person got back from lunch.
