Saturday Chicken Schniztel, Green Beans with a little Nutmegg and Aardappel Anders ( Potatoe slices in a Bacon/Onion Sauce with Cheese from the Oven) A little Satey Sauce on the sauce always goes will with chicken ( basically goes well with about everything.) Cygnwulf Posted January 30 Share Posted January 30 Back home safe. Turns out our attempt to go into the office today was ill advised. 2 freeways to get to the office. As we approach our exit off the first one we see an accident ahead that's limiting it down to 1 lane. We take our exit. get about halfway up the ramp before getting to traffic fully stopped because of another accident on the 2nd freeway shortly beyond where we merge in. It takes an hour to get past that accident. While waiting stopped on the ramp, we see that there's a 3rd accident on freeway 2 in the lanes going the opposite direction where a semi has plowed through the barricade and is stopped on the opposite side shoulder. Mrs. Wulf is able to get her boss to agree to call it a work from home day so she doesn't need to come in. We finally get past the accident and head for the first exit, seeing as we near it that there is a new 4th accident that's stopping traffic again on the freeway ahead. We take the exit and use side streets to get back home, getting home in a little over 20 minutes from where it took us an hour and a half to get to... Wife started a fire in the fireplace then went upstairs. I guess she needed to have the fire going in order to feel better in her craft room. Where she has a space heater going even when it’s not as cold as now. She then came down and mentioned how hot it was here in the kitchen. There seems to be a hole in my coffee cup, either that or i am drinking the coffee fast.. surely not. I had to wrangle the dogs to take them to the vet for their rabies shot..... Adult Bassett was ready to go, She knows what the harness is for. The 5 month old Bassett, not so much, plus the Dachshund, who is mostly blind and deaf, was not sure what was going on, but papa was on the floor with all of them. Get them all there and back again. Everyone is doing great, it is nap time for them, plus it is too cold to stay outside for very long. I have had my two cups of coffee and an apple. Still working on my Castles and Crusades game. I may have to start one on Discord somewhere, but everyone wants to do it 'live' and prefer PbP. not many people seem to want to do that anymore. On one hand it makes me happy, but on the other, it makes me sad, because I am left out in the cold, so to speak. kristof65 Posted January 30 Share Posted January 30 Well that was weird. Connected into a site in the SW Denver Metro area, making a backup. Got disconnected. Couldn't get reconnected. I have a bunch of sites to do today, so I went on to the next site on my list. Can't get connected to it, either, even though I was connected earlier today. Next site on my list I have no problem - it's in Iowa. Go back to first site, still no connection. Second site, same thing. Try a fourth site, also in SW Denver Metro area. Can't get connected.
