That's probably the only place you'll find that at retail. Another thought - what about flat plastic rolled up and glued? Probably quicker and clearer than resin printing. I thought of that but then there would be the seam where it is glued but then again, resin printing you'd see where the supports were. The glass doesn't have to be 100% clear. I was thinkin of maybe using a tint resin like a light/icy blue that Sunlu has. Thou I will admit that would limit my use in using it. At clear would give me options to print out flight bases & other thing that might require clear parts. I'll have to take a look & see what is here, I may go out to HD later today & see if they have anything. I might check out the locally owned ACE hardware as well. They seem to have just about everything when it comes to those kinda things.

kristof65
Dealing with a guy right now who is telling me that our recommendation to put a battery back up on our POS system and replace it annually is "unrealistic." Dude, a $100 bucks a year can save you thousands of dollars. I will say "I told you so" if you get an electrical surge that kills your Point of Sale. 5 1 1

I'd be recording that conversation so I could email it to them when you're proven right. 6
kristof65
LMAO!!!!!!!!! It gets better. I can't fix the guys problem because the remote access module has suffered a fatal error and won't boot up properly. Probably because it wasn't plugged into a UPS/Battery backup. $420 for the remote access module. That could have paid for the last four years of battery backups. 2 minutes ago, Mad Jack said: I'd be recording that conversation so I could email it to them when you're proven right. I don't have to wait long at all. I got to do it within an hour! 1
Corsair
Interesting quote about coffee. “Just the other day, I was in my neighborhood Starbucks, waiting for the post office to open. I was enjoying a chocolatey cafe mocha when it occurred to me that to drink a mocha is to gulp down the entire history of the New World. From the Spanish exportation of Aztec cacao, and the Dutch invention of the chemical process for making cocoa, on down to the capitalist empire of Hershey, PA, and the lifestyle marketing of Seattle's Starbucks, the modern mocha is a bittersweet concoction of imperialism, genocide, invention, and consumerism served with whipped cream on top.” ― Sarah Vowell 6 1

kristof65
I just pissed off a scammer - the only reason I answered the call is came from my best friend's area code. I had a few minutes, so I fired up fakenamegenerator.com and answered all of his questions from the data there. About 7 minutes into the call, we got disconnected - I thought he had figured out I was "scamming" him, but he called back, and I got to string him along for another 5 minutes, then he got pissed at me when the fake CC # I gave him didn't match the bank I said issued the card. Ah, the words "You're wasting my time" were sweet to hear.... 1 4

I always ask, "Well, what's your CC #?" & the call abruptly ends for some reason.
