Today’s subject is a GE LED flood bulb for the kitchen. Estimated life: 22.3 years! Actual life: almost 8! Home Depot had one brand of bulbs this weekend. Ecosmart brand. We will see how long those last, as they feel like very cheap plastic. Will let you know in two years or so, as I think they have an estimated life of 11 years. The estimated life is only if you don't use them... 😉 I've had mixed results from Ecosmart and it seems to be bulb to bulb... a few died in 6 months and others are still going strong 3+ years of very regular use. they're much much cheaper than the other brands though, which don't seem to last a lot longer, so at least it costs less to be dissapointed.. 6
