Almost a plan. …change the part after “walk around” to: tell everyone about the drawing you saved yesterday, that one that did not really specify how the thingamudingus was to be installed the way the manufacturing engineer thought it did. You’ll know they’ve been mentored once their eyes begin to roll. 6

Jasper_the_2nd
Sigh. Been waiting on a parcel for a bit now. From the US, took5 days to cross the border, a couple more to clear customs, finally on the weekend it was outbound from Montreal, so worst case is usually we'd see it hit Dieppe yesterday and be here in Saint John today. But didn't get a tracking update at all yesterday, so maybe the truck was delayed. Nope, this morning get a nice tracking update from St. John's Newfoundland. So now I expect it is back on a truck to catch the next ferry back. So close Canada Post, you only missed by a couple of provinces..... 5
WhiteWulfe
Yeah, similar problem with something I won having shipped like a month ago supposedly, and it's still not here. Frustratingly we haven't gotten a tracking number, so I don't even know how it was shipped..
Colonel Kane
Hello all... It has been a day. While I love the sun shining and need the vitamin D3, I do love 'gloomy' days. I love the sound of the rain. ...... it is 'misting' here and kind of gloomy, but not really so much..... Computers lags at just the right time to aggravate me, plus trying to print a 370 page document because I evidently love wasting paper. pauses and I have to run the printer checker, which 1st question always is "Is the Printer on?"..... I have turned it off once in the year or so I have had it. strangely enough it is the same question the wife asks me when she goes to print something..... it is just an aggravating day and I have to go to work later and deal with John Q Public and keep them happy...... sorry, like I said it has been an aggravating day and has put me in 'a mood' not foul, but not good either. I hope everyone else is having the best day they can and I hope it gets better. 1 1

I don't know if that contributed or not, but I had some pretty strange dreams last night. Nothing I can share; I only remember fuzzy little snippets of them. Here too. Got woken up a couple of times through the night and it was definitely raining. I think there were a few peals of thunder too. 6 hours ago, Pegazus said: Time is funny. Memory is unreliable. I'm going to make a big sign that says: "For Sale used parachute like new never opened" and post it across the road from that one. Parachute for sale. Used once, never opened, small stain.

Inarah
Mine has a setting #3: What was that barely imperceptible noise? I must now launch myself off your person at full speed, using all claws on your flesh to gain traction and velocity. 6
sumbloke
Food log: Made curry kapitan tonight. SWMBO had intended to do it for a multicultural lunch at work, but that was postponed. No point letting the supplies go to waste, though. Also made some vegetable soup, but that wasn't as photogenic.

Pegazus
Got nine hours of sleep last night, McD’s for breakfast, and it’s nearly Friday. Hope this means I will have a good day.
Pegazus
I have one coworker in the office today. And that includes management. Not sure why I bother coming in.

I generally carry snacks as well, for the same reason. I got my bag [pulled by TSA in Whitefish MT once because I had a bundle of fruit roll ups and a cell phone tucked in my laptop bag in the same pocket. Apparently it looked like explosives with a timer? That part would have been funny, but then the agent just shoved everything back in with no regard, and got mad at me when stood there repacking it like I had it. Service Manager is off the next two days, but had the "courtesy" to tag a half dozen calls/emails that came in after I left yesterday with my name to resolve/answer - but didn't bother to forward any of them to me or create tickets for them in the call center. this was after not handling any of the simple emails I received while I was out sick on Tuesday and stuck in pre-arranged training and configuration appointments all day yesterday. I have half a mind to create tickets for him for every call he gets the next two days instead of actually handling them.
