Combines well with:

Does the Pope know about this?

And a wave of conversion sweeps across the nation, starting at the Church of Saint Midas of The Muffler.

Did they actually broadcast anything? I was on at 6:06 and couldn't find it.  Had to go make dinner, so I left Twitch on but never heard the show start.

Wonder what those were stolen off of.....

Good news today finally.  The cat's pancreatic inflammation is gone, and her liver is much better. She will live, and it will be a nice long happy life.

@sumbloke might be able to provide some insight since it was an advertisement from Down Under.

Hooray!

Speaking of catalytic converters, check engine light had been going on and off for a few weeks.  My car has over 100k miles on it, and the code was P0430 which indicates either an exhaust sensor or the catalytic converter. Well I had that dumb broccoli crook a while back that tried to steal the catalytic converter but actually stole part of my muffler, so I assumed that he may have damaged the downstream sensor (which would be in the exhaust pipe just ahead of the muffler) and the repairs missed it.  I was in the shop picking up my wife's car after some warranty work, and while waiting on them to pull it around, asked the service advisor if he thought that a possibility or if there was something else I needed to be careful of.  He pulled up my car and found that there actually is a recall on my catalytic converter, and even though the car has 100k miles on it, the manufacturer will foot the bill for both the cat and the acting up sensor.   Works for me, so long as they can get the part in a reasonable length of time. I'm going out of town on the 24th and really need it back by then....

Please tell me you have a late model Toyota Corolla?  My check engine light came on recently with a similar code, and the potential cost of repair has been worrying me.

Little me found a florescent light bulb in the shop trash barrel and decided to play Star Wars. It was great until I hit the side of the barrel with my sword, and it exploded. Lots of tiny cuts on my hand from that one.

I would bet many of us here have a similar experience ::D:

I had it on good authority (the boasting of other 8 years olds) that those asploded when hurled into dumpsters (for instance).

So I never did I ever try anything similar.

One of the benefits of working around dangerous situations since I was ten, I suppose.

We had on gloves and safety glasses for our lightsaber duels.

We were always swingin' sticks around or broom handles until we struck each other too hard & the impact/vibration of the two would hurt our hands.

I worked my first warehouse job in high school, at the Sears warehouse. It was actually part of our job, when getting rid of things like burned-out fluorescent tubes and damaged televisions to break the glass on them to release the gas inside (hey, it was the '80's...) ...

Yup - in addition to tossing fluorescent tubes into a dumpster from twenty feet away off the loading dock, seventeen-year-old me got to TAKE A SLEDGEHAMMER TO TV SCREENS...  ::D:
