GEM 37 minutes ago, Corsair said: Okay, question for the minds here: I saw some fabric that had a 1" square grid printed on it. The fabric was white with the lines being black. If you were to dye the fabric a light color, would the lines still show? Or would the dye erase them? Only way to know for sure is to do a test on a small swatch of fabric. Keep in mind all the variables/potential consequences @Inarah wrote about. Warm/hot water bath will give the best color penetration but cold water will make for less shrinkage wich may be impartant for maintaining the accuracy of the grid. GEM Let us know the particulars. 4 1

I have an 04 Corolla and it had the check engine pop on when it got cold. Turned out there's a bug with one of the sensors that they were able to correct by updating the computer so it didn't freak out whenever it got cold. No, it was still warm when it started. I thought it was just the cap, as I tried that first and turned the code off, but it came back. so today I had this: Customer: I would like to set up a training session with you.Me: Sure, here's my next three standard training appointments. Please fill out the attached form with payment details to book. Customer: Wait? I have to pay? My friend over at site X didn't have to pay. Me: Your friend at site X just bought $100k worth of new equipment. A training session comes free with the purchase of new equipment. Customer: That's BS! 4 2 1

I have also had this issue. Unfortunately, the ones I talked with were all medical staff wanting to schedule appts for a CPAP machine, Stress tests, Echocardiogram, and the required follow-up appts for said testing and device usage.

Horse Girl:- A solo journal RPG chronicling a woman's surgical transformation into a horse by the man she loves. That was certainly enough Internet for last night. Green Eyed Monsty
Saw this and my brain immediately started thinking how it could be used as a Dungeon Trap: Random dice rolls for how the sections revolve. Anyone not taking the precaution of rigging a descent line before putting the first step on the top rung is going to have an "interesting" time if things start out aligned. GEM That already looks like a trap to me. You'd have to do some pretty impressive gymnastics to be able to get from some of those bars to some of the others. 5

Picture the starting position of all the sections as aligned to form a normal ladder from top to bottom. Then imagine the faint vibration of machinery starting to shift the sections out of alignment when the party is descending the ladder. I can imagine a number of "interesting" ways such a scenario evolves. GEM
