(5th should be parallel to 56th !??) If one is Street and the other is Avenue it makes perfect sense. In Utah, particularly in the towns laid out by Mormon Settlers, you will have street numbers on one side of the grid and Alphabet on the other side of the grid, making it easy-peasy to navigate when you add North/South/East/West. The oldest member of my gaming group is always grumping about his feet hurting. So the rest of us bought him a cheap foot bath. The youngest, least grouchy, member of our group delivered it to him this morning. And true to form he grouched about us making fun of him. We are never going to drop this. We'll be reminding him of being a super grouch on his deathbed. Guaranteed. The foot bath sounds like something that might be worked in to specific "challenges" for whatever character this player is running. Things like leaky boots so the socks are constantly wet and other minor irritations that eventually develop into a chronic foot fungus or similar. Pegazus
Family has abandoned me for the evening! Wife is at an advertising class at her craft store and the daughter decided to hang out with her assassins (senior year game going). So I am having brisket, collard greens, and fried okra!

He had the Hulk Hogan haircut. Eventually, he got the name "Franklin" for some reason as well. I never have understood that one thou. Heh. NYC is only mostly built on a grid - there are any number of places where some of the smaller, older streets go in funky directions or curve 90 degrees... I'm going to have to arrange for that. He's going to get so angry with us his head is likely to explode. I'll make it up to him by doing something nice for his character.

kristof65
I freaking hate technology. Been dealing all week with a nice and patient customer, but we keep hitting stupid issues that confound us, and delay resolution of the overall problem. Should be able to log into a brand new circuit board that we sent him, but we can't, and we're not sure why. Only thing that makes sense is it's something about the usb to serial cable on his PC, but usually that creates a different type of problem. Engineer is working on a work around solution, but at this point, I'm thinking it might be faster to put someone on a plane to BC with a whole new set of parts and proper tools. Oh well, at least we have him to the point where he can sell washes by credit card again. On the opposite coast, I have the opposite problem. It's a site that hasn't upgraded their equipment, and is still on dial up credit card and remote access. I know exactly what his problem is, but I can't fix it because we dropped support for dial up remote access two years ago when my PC modem failed. It was the last one the company had. So his site is effectively down until he purchases, receives and installs the internet remote access module.
