So, I was de-sprueing some of the bits that I got yesterday, and everything was progressing well until I got to all the Khorne stuff ( BLOOD FOR THGE BLOOD GOD!) when I dropped a piece. Luckily, I as able to observe the descent, so I saw where it landed. The piece in question was a skull with a spike through it, and as I grabbed it off the floor, I learned that that spike was SHARP! It jabbed me in the thumb and stayed there until I removed it, whereupon it started bleeding.

Blood for the blood god indeed.

Sounds like so many of the Yu Jing models from Corvus Belli...  Common joke amongst players is it doesn't matter what you try, those minis will make you bleed, quite possibly for every time yo uforget how to pronounce their names...

Do you ever decide to Google search for something, but by the time you’ve got a spare browser tab setup to do the search in, you’ve forgot what to search for?

That happened a lot for the first few years after my "accident".

Not so much now.

I found what most people would consider to be excessive amounts of Vitamin B were a big help in getting my brain back on some semblance of "normal" tracking.

Yup, same here.  Sometimes even if you're quick about getting a tab open it's poof squirrel! A aaaaaand it's gone.

Totally unrelated to that conversation, I finished up four objective token marker thingies, was nice to finish off something on the paint table desk ^_^

But the important part is... While the skull was stuck in your thumb, did you make thumb puppets with it, wiggling it around and talking in a funny voice?

I managed to join that club last night; I was cleaning something with a (new! I JUST CHANGED THE BLADE!) hobby knife .. and it slipped, and naturally whipped right across my finger.

Bled enough that I didn't get a good look at the damage until I changed the bandaid this morning.

There's a reason I keep bandaids handy up here, just sayin' ...

No stitches. Just ow.
