The Donner Summit sign is on I-80, which has been intermittently closed for many hours at a time over the last couple of weeks due to the heavy snows being experienced as multiple storms make their way from the Arctic Pacific and across the Pacific Northwest. 6

Thoramel
Well today is off to a wonderful start. Driving into work early this morning and some kind of junk flew out of a busted up old pickup in front of me. Tried to swerve to miss it but saw it to late. Now I'm sitting here with a busted up front end and a flat tire waiting on a tow truck.

Got to thinkin this morning that while I waited yesterday for UPS, I was suppose to have a package from FedEx show up. My Kickstarter from Steamforged Games (Secrets of Gullet Cove). So I go & check the tracking & now it's saying "Undetermined date"....hmmmm. Probably due to the crazy late winter weather the West is experiencing this year. Last place it tracked was Cheyenne, WY. Hell, I'm just glad I can track the package. Steamforged initially sent out a tracking number from a previous KS package...WTFluff??? Thou, their help/contact email was very prompt in responding, I'll give em that.

We've got those same laws, but I doubt your average late night/early morning scrap picker cares much about securing his load of junk and/or stolen metal. 5

Their "control" of the vending business in SoCal was cracked open when Pac-Man hit and the video game craze exploded beyond their ability to control the new market. GEM Huh. I had never heard that before. probably because I didn't get into Coin Op until the 90s, and it was in NorCal. 16 minutes ago, Thoramel said: We've got those same laws, but I doubt your average late night/early morning scrap picker cares much about securing his load of junk and/or stolen metal. And even if they do care, it doesn't always mean they do a good job. The one time I was hit by flying debris, it was the turnbuckle from one of the straps securing the load.
