kristof65
And I just finished manufacturing myself a new test cable, and what should miraculously appear in a spot I looked 5 times already? 1 2

It was just a reaction image to @Chaoswolf and his joke. As it seems to have caused confusion to use a human, I shall instead stick to using animals. 7
haldir
Oooooo, Humble Bundle has the Complete Dark Horse Elfquest comics up for $18. I may have to go in on that one. The last time I read Elfquest was ages ago when Marvel had the license. I wish I would have gotten the minis that recently have bene popping up in WiP by people I know & don't know. Hobby related news - my last Big River order showed up today....with the rush to take advantage of the deal I got for my 2 lts of grey resin, I clicked separate orders for everything. I had like 6 orders show up the starting last Saturday.

Fortunately I have 20 plus days to pull the trigger on this one. GEM

USAans are the only ones who think the word "series" refers to baseball, even if they try to claim that is a world series. This is something I made note of decades ago. The actual World Series [of Baseball] happens at the Olympics every four years. GEM

Rahz
So nerdy 40K moment recently... Was in the middle of getting a bone graft in my lower right jaw bone (for eventual implants) and when they were preparing the mixture of blood (mine) and bone dust (human and non, mix) the "dentist" (I forget the correct title for someone who does this sort of oral fun) says to his assistant "Use a mix of 15% Xeno" and I almost guffawed, despite him having a scalpel in my mouth at the time. I am now in danger from from the Inquisition that's twice I've had Xeno bone material added. Have not yet heard any whispers from the Dark Powers nor new tentacles yet, but we'll see what the future brings. I keep telling my wife the non-human is pig and I am my own bacon (I honestly don't know what animal they use) and apparently it is not something to bring up when up fishing for a kiss... Oh well... 🐷 6 4

This is not a procedure I've heard of. I see commercials about dental implants frequently, though.

Any time I make something that isn't horribly complicated or takes forever to do, I always make multiples of them and make sure to put several of them in the same place and a couple of them in separate places. In other news, my Dungeon 23 project is coming along nicely - I've drawn maps for pretty much all the public buildings in the main town as well as most of the important buildings in the smaller swamp town, as well as having mapped out the swamp (and the entrances to the sunken Dwarven settlement) and the surrounding area. @Chaoswolf and @Dilvish the Deliverer will get a kick out of this... The "Great Black Swamp" as it is labeled on the adventure maps is actually more often referred to by the original name given to it by the Firstfolk who settled there hundreds of years before the current kingdom was established... They call it Gungywamp.... (For those not from around these parts, it's a local swamp with an archeological site...) 4

GEM My best guess is that it was on the back of a flat bed truck which misjudged the height of the bridge. 3
