But it would have involved overseeing subcontractors and not doing any real design myself. No thanks. 5

Speaking of software: did anybody figure out a script or something to extract the Data needed to repair all those badly formatted customer accounts? The ones you were dreading taking 2-3 days of tedium to fix. Is that a done deal? Something like this-?-if possible: Scan all accounts Flag wrong accounts Extract good data from said accounts into spreadsheet. (Manually?) Fix fouled up data fields in spreadsheet. Find all flagged accounts Replace each with corresponding corrected data from spreadsheet. Maybe that is two scripts(?)

Moderator Chaoswolf Posted March 8 Author Moderator Share Posted March 8 I haven't seen anywhere near all of them, but I did enjoy the few episodes of Sharpe's Rifles that I have seen.
WhiteWulfe
Needs to rearrange a few things in living room to have a dedicated spot for the new 3d printer that will be shipping later this week... Three months ago, I did some of said rearranging, and said I had plenty of time. Yeah, that package arrives in less than a week and I still haven't done the rest of that rearranging, whoops. I should probably do such this weekend then, and plug a few things back in, eh?

I'm not following up with her either - ball is in her court until she pays or inquires about status. TBH< I had forgotten about her again until you asked. Once she's paid up, I'll look into seeing if there is a more efficient way of doing it.
Pegazus
Went on a wee bit of an email rant yesterday at work. a rotating carousel with about 40 people riding along. My request that someone tell me what to tell (not their real names) John or Bob or “ImportantIndividual627” so that work could continue got a chuckle. Didn’t realize the irony in II627 until a reply stating that they laughed. Originally it was RandomIndividual627 but felt that was getting too snarky. 5
