haldir
Dang, as much as I wanted to see the current unis, Portland Winterhawks showed a alternate uniform they are going to wear this Saturday for Oregon Hockey History night: (Spoiler-ed due to the size) Spoiler What's neat about the throwback is they are combining the overall design from the 30s, with the logo of the 60s to the today's 'hawk colors. Pretty neat tribute. Also they are going honor the Memorial Cup team of '83 & will induct 4 members of that team into the Oregon Hockey Hall of Fame. Also, Cam Neely will have his jersey number retired & a banner lifted into the rafters, the first one to be raised up. I guess right now, I'm just hoping for a victory vs Seattle, ha ha. The team has really taken a downside in performance the last month or so, as they were either ahead or trailed by 3 in points to Seattle. Now, it's like a 20 pt gap. They are still 3rd overall in the Western Conference standings, but being #1 would be better. Go 'hawks!

She picked a couple new minis to work on when she finishes up her current ones. One is the fun-sized mousling witch hunter. The other is Erebus Nalas, Evil Sorcerer. Anne said her new book will be self-published on Monday March 20. I think that means it will show up at Amazon first, other places like B&N and local bookstores later. haldir
Pretty cool pic: A online hobby shop I found by the way ebay & now I just do orders direct with them. Burbank's House of Hobbies in Burbank, CA. 3 famous directors shopping there last week either before or after the Oscars. The owner of the store is the bald guy in the black shirt. Nice to know I shop at the same store as Guillermo De Toro. 8

kristof65
Back at work after a 3 day mini vacation. Should have stayed gone the rest of the week. Getting into an argument with the sales guy - I asked him for a generic quote for a 2 bay automatic/5 bay self serve system that I could pass along to some cusotmers, and he is insisting that I give him the potential customer's name and contact info. NOPE. I would if this was a normal situation, but it's a sensitive one involving multiple parties fighting over ownership of a site with discontinued equipment that has also been vandalized. Lawyers and insurance companies are involved, so we have to be careful about what we say to whom. The broccoli-head salesman will wind up blabbing things he shouldn't to whomever will land him the biggest commission. I'm trying to provide all parties with a generic quote that I can use as a reference for more specific details each of the people need due to their situation. 1 1

Given the sensitivity of the situation I would go over Sales Guy's head, right to Management with a suggestion that Legal be involved on your end. Seems to me the wrong thing said to the wrong party could buy your company some unwanted legal entanglements, which Sales Guy is sure to make happen. Good Luck GEM PS> Suggest to management that Sales Guy give them the information to then be passed on to you, by management. 5
Pegazus
Been a beautiful slightly snowy day today. Large soft snowflakes drifting by the window, some going up and some going down. And an empty office to go with the snow. Slackers.
