I checked the website for The Mill on MacArthur:

”~~~~~~

Tater Tots

Two dozen deep-fried tater tots served with Sweet Heat Hot sauce and choice of dipping sauce.

$4.50

~~~~~~”
What could be so special about tater-tots?
(Maybe A file got to the printer with an error in the price field for that one item - “Market Price” could be a legit entry from a drop down menu for some cuts of steak or fish.)
Most likely.
But it struck me as hilarious that a product originally designed to make a useful foodstuff out of leftover bits and scraps would be "Market Price" like it was something in the same category as a Maine Lobster.
I had a dream where Danny Trejo played Coyote as a minor god with a rap sheet.
I think this would work!
Speaking of Coyote and rap sheets....
I like that the offerings to Coyote being stolen is part of the offering.
I think that I will be using that in the cops game....
Well, given lobster was originally such an abundant foodstuff there were laws about it not being served to prisoners more than twice a week or it would be considered cruel an unusual punishment...
My first job out of college was as Assistant Manager to a private golf club [circa 400 members] that had heavy outside catering of receptions, parties and golf tournaments.
I can relate to the lobster being considered cruel and unusual punishment as I became completely sick of lobster while working there as the duty manager always had the same thing for dinner as the guests were being served.  Most of the golf tournaments had steak and lobster for dinner so there were times of the year when I was "forced" to eat steak and lobster three or four times a week.
Money was good, hours were terrible, and it just wasn't a good fit for me psychologically.
Used to cost about $200 to fill our Propane Tank.
Last fillup, which was only just over half way down was over $340
Driver said we got in just before a scheduled price increase so next time is going to be even higher.
Addendum:  We have a 250 gallon tank but since the company will only fill to 80% of capacity for "safety reasons" we have an effective capacity of 200 gallons.  So I have to wait for it to get to 40% before calling for the truck to roll in and top it up.
In the Netherlands the annual energy price bill has risen from about 3000 euro's average to about 10000 euro.
I'm one of the lucky ones who has a fixed contract till november 2024, meaning I'm paying the old prices till then, which gives me time to spent my savings on measures to prevent this horror.
Solar panels, isolation, radiator fans, new boiler etc etc.
It's not that I had intended to spend that money on nice things like being able to do nice things when we retire or replace a car or something useless as that.
I will not say more so I won't steer into political territory, although I would like to invite certain Dutch and EU politicians to assist me in target practice..
Please stand over there, now stay perfectly still.....
There are people who are worried, now that Kender have been reintroduced to the wilds of D&D.
I... am not one of them. 🙂
The Auld Grump - not what I intended to make when I went on HeroForge, but....
nor I.  At our table it was always that only certian PLAYERS weren't allowed to play Kender, and then only because they abused them in the past.  Kender themselves were never the issue.
Is this one shipping?
Got a UPS notification from Reaper today & I haven't made a order (besides the one I made at the beginning of the month).
Quoting my post from BaseBoss 2 thread & I got my package from Reaper on Tuesday. It wasn't BB2, but it was my 1st order of ReaperCon melt I placed back in September/October or so. I need to send @Reaper_Jon a message of thanks, but I do have some questions on it.
I will admit, I'm glad they kept us "old RCon farts" from loosing the melt credit we had saved up over the years, but I really do miss the way it was, shopping the Boneyard at the Con itself.
"Kender Paladin" is the only thing my AD&D/Planescrape DM would never allow in his games.
At our table back in the day, we were pretty much the same way, thou like Froggy, there were certain kender-class combos that weren't allowed.
I've been reading up on the new Dragonlance adventure/source the past couple days. It seems like a nice book, thou I still haven't picked up a Dragonlance vibe off it yet, I mean it's nice to see Lord Soth finally get a 5e update (no way, the level of the party it taking him down in this adventure). Granted it has been over 30+ years since I read the original Chronicles, but also the legal battle with Hickman & Weis kinda shows up as well. The adventure is set before the Chronicles & after Legends, pretty much the early years of the War, but darnit I wanna see some of the old familiar locations & people of Dragonlance!!! ^_^
