Randomness: the 18th sequel

We are currently getting the Prelude to the Enchanted Tiki Room, sans tiki's and singing flowers.

A crash of thunder, very close by, announced the arrival of the deluge from the storm clouds I saw over the Reno area while we were out and about.  Rain coming down hard and fast enough it's puddling instead of soaking in.

I have homemade spaghetti sauce on the stove simmering so the house is starting to smell wonderful.😋

And that, as Paul Harvey used to say, is the rest of the story.

I have no doubt cats are still having that same conversation to this very day.

Only now the humans have the advantage of being able to operate the can opener.

If you get to ride a giant opossum, I want pictures!

Even if it's person/critter in a costume!!

About ready to head up to the high school. One of my players ie friends is graduating  tonight. He has been coming to the FLGS & my games since 2018, I figured I owed him this.

Even more reason for pictures.

Short & sweet, my kind of graduation. (beats what my son got in 2020 thou.....<_<)

My only complaint about it was the person speaking the names was Hispanic & when she read the Spanish names, they flowed like a poem, but when it came to the English names (ie Bob Smith), she flatlined them. I mean I really didn't care, but it felt that way.

Met up with my friend at the end, gave him a card I found (squirrel themed, opened it up & it moved & made whoat whoat sounds) & a gag gift of some Congrats Grad napkins I got at work this morning. He loved both of them. Looking forward to having him back in the games (he had taken most of this month of due to finals & end of the year stuff at school).

Not 'til Martin comes....

Brigid loves that story. ::): Just scary enough.

Is that a comical label for the under sink disposal unit?  (I could envision a cat reacting badly when it was activated.)

So. To get an engineering drawing released takes a lot of group signatures. Checking, drafter, materials, manufacturing, quality, engineering, then whoever is needed based on that drawing. During the morning tag-up to help coordinate and push people to sign things, one group was having issues finding the right person to sign.

The phrase “just assign it to the general group and we will find someone who is still left on the program” isn’t an indication that things are going well with them.

I didn’t know they had Possums in the European Renaissance.

What are you talking about? O'Possum is a traditional Irish name...
